“Feel the passion, let it be free.”
I close my eyes, remembering the heat and passion of Emeric giving me oral sex on my table, then the feel of him and Griffin taking me at the same time, their hard bodies molded to mine as they thrust into me. Lust and passion swarm in my belly as heat rises to my palms. Opening my eyes, I admire the red-orange glow with fascination as it swirls in my hand.
“You thought of us, didn’t you?”
There’s a devilish smirk creasing his scar, his black eyes glistening with a crimson shimmer.
“Yes,” I smirk. “And the three of us.”
“Good, now choose a target and release your magic.”
Sweeping my surroundings, I single out a bush away from the house and woods that, if incinerated, won’t start a fire. Aiming, I release the ball of essence, and it flows out but sizzles to nothing before reaching the bush.
“What did I do wrong?”
Emeric moves behind me, putting his hands on my hips as he whispers in my ear.
“Feel it more, don’t hold back.” His fingers curve over my hip, lowering between my legs, and heat flares at my center. The red-orange glow lashes out of my hand, lifting into the air.
“That it’s, let it out.” He kisses the column of my neck, scraping his fangs teasingly over my skin. “Remember how that feels on your pussy.”
A moan slips out of my lips, the magic surging stronger in my palm. Aiming at the bush, I release it, and within seconds the bush is burning to ash.
Emeric turns me in his arms and smothers my lips.
“Well done, pretty witch.”
“You’re a tease.”
“Nah, baby, I have every intention of satisfying the desire you feel right now.”
Emeric erases the minute space between us, his growing erection pressing against me. I’m becoming wet with this little bit of foreplay. What are these men doing to me? I’ve never been so horny.
Griffin clears his throat, and my cheeks blush.
“Get used to it,” Emeric growls. “I’m not going to hold back for any of you.”
“Look at her,” Griffin says, standing from the sand.
Emeric steps back, and I look around me as turquoise and red-orange essence blends and swirls, then separate before blending again. Around me and Emeric, a black circle of burned sand has formed, and as my magic swirls, the ocean water continues to wash farther up the sand. Each wave brings it nearer as if my magic calls to it.
“Her magic is growing. It’s been dormant for years without an outlet. We need to give her one.”
Emeric moves closer, his hand gripping my hip. “I can help with that.”
“No.” Griffin rolls his eyes, but there’s a smirk lifting the corner of his mouth. “She needs a magical outlet.”
“What are you thinking?”
“We take her to see Ancor. He’ll know what to do.”
Griffin goes into the house and brings out my shoes. Slipping on the sneakers, I follow him into the woods with Emeric at my side, his dark eyes scanning our surroundings like a protective bodyguard. As we walk farther into the woods, the tip of his wing brushes across my ass, and I swat it away, laughing.
“You love having them back, don’t you?”
“I do. That part of me that was missing has been restored.” He takes my hand, as his left wingtip folds around my shoulder. “Thanks to you.”
Griffin looks over his shoulder, his gaze going to our joined hands. His emotive ears pull back, revealing his envy. Reaching forward, I snag his hand, and he slows his pace to join us, his pretty eyes glimmering with magical essence.
Having to share my affection with two men is going to be difficult. I can’t imagine having to share it with five. Wait, what am I thinking? Five supernatural boyfriends. It’s surreal, and if this is what I’m truly meant for, I’m going to need a boyfriend schedule to keep track of them all.
Reaching Ancor’s home, Griffin raises his fist to knock at the door, but Ancor is already there, opening it. Damn, this Fae is good.
“Bring her in.” Ancor gives me a polite smile, then looks Emeric over with an approving grunt. “You, too.” He waves at Emeric.
The three of us squeeze into his quaint living room. Emeric folds his wings down against his back, and I catch the discomfort on his face. I imagine after years of having them pinned to his back, embedded in his skin, he’s eager to fly. Can he fly? I need to ask him.
“What can I do for you?” Wearing a flowery shirt, tan shorts, and flip flops, Ancor is an ironic sight for a magical man in the forest.
“Her magic is growing quickly without an outlet. I’m worried she’ll hurt herself or others.”
Those words stiffen me. I didn’t realize out-of-control magic could hurt me or others. There’s so much I don’t know.
“Mmm,” is all Ancor says as he moves to his small stove, gathers a wooden spoon next to it, and stirs whatever liquid is in the pot. “She feels strongly for both of you. It is drawing out her magic. She wants to connect.”
“I am still here, Ancor.”
“Mm, hmm.” Gathering a cup from his cupboard, he fills it with the strange liquid. “She is also your magic, and your magic is also you.”
“What?”
“Use it. Use your magic. There is no greater outlet. Demons and humans are running amuck, fairy painter, and we need your help.” Ancor moves closer, his dark eyes boring into mine.
My nerves bundle, and Emeric is there, his wings expanding as I back into his arms.
“Drink this.”
My eyes drop to the cup Ancor is shoving toward my face.
“What is it?” Emeric asks, suspicion lacing his tone.
“Do not ask what you do not know. Ask what you will know.”
“What are you saying, old man?”
“What will it do to her?” Griffin asks.
“Ah, yes. It will show her why she is important to us all.”
That has my curiosity raging. I take the cup and down it in one nasty gulp. It
