was getting too real.

She could feel fear and panic building.

Sophie pushed the button once, causing a clicking sound to echo through the empty room. It stopped Sin in his advancement, which she really hadn’t noticed in her panic.

“No, Soph. You don’t want to press that again. You earned this punishment. First you criticized yourself, and ignored an order. And then you went against my direct command to stop sucking me. You deserve two punishments. Twenty slaps.” At Thane’s growl, Adrian rolled his eyes.

Did he really not care about that big man’s opinion? “But, I won’t. You’ll only get 10 because you’re new to this. But I’m not going to ignore it all together. You have to start how you plan to continue.”

Slaps? He planned to smack her?

No! She wouldn’t let that happen. She wasn’t going to be abused. She might have agreed to do this, but she never expected them to hurt her.

Darn it! Why hadn’t she expected them to hurt her? That seemed like a normal concern to overlook.

Sophie didn’t take her eyes from Sin and thought about it. She could click it again. She could just press the button and be done with it, but what would that do? It wouldn’t create a force-field around her, wouldn’t make him stop in his advances. And who was to say that he’d take the clicks seriously? He didn’t seem to care about her consent when he asked, as if it was purely for Thane’s benefit.

So really, there was no point in pressing it the final, second time. She just dropped the walky-talky and moved sideways towards Thane. Thanatos was the moral one, despite his nickname. He was going to be the one that helped her.

He would protect her.

In fact, he reached out when she was close enough and pulled her into the warmth of his arms. It was comforting, made her feel safe, which was weird. Why would this gigantic warrior make her feel safe? But she felt her panic start to ebb.

As Thane cuddled her to his hard chest, Soph felt herself relaxing. And as he picked her up… okay, so she felt a little panic then. She wasn’t sure that he could hold her.

Not very many people could lift her, let alone carry her. It was sad to think about but she wasn’t some skinny princess. However, Thane didn’t seem to notice her weight. Not as he carried her out of the room, his one arm under her legs, and the other behind her back. He didn’t seem to notice when he set her down in a room with weird equipment.

Was this for training? Did this stuff help them learn to fight better?

Soph could only imagine, because she didn’t see another use for it. Unless it was for torture purposes. Maybe this was where they skinned people alive.

The large X in the corner with straps seemed to be designed to hold someone. And who knew what the cabinets held.

But if that was the case, why were there rugs on the floor. Wouldn’t they get bloody?

Soph turned her attention back to Thane, hoping that he’d tell her something about what would happen. She didn’t get any reassurances, however. He didn’t have any emotion on his face as he looked around.

He didn’t even seem to sense her discomfort. He just took her hand and led her over to a bench.

At least the bench was all padded. It was all leather, which looked like it was stuffed underneath. It seemed to have two seating areas, one on each side, that were tipped up a little. The back was thick, curved and reminded her of an upside down U. It was really a weird bench but at least he was letting her sit instead of kneeling.

Her knees were unused to so much kneeling. Sure, she did so in church, but she had to admit that she hadn’t gone in a while.

I’ll have to go after I get back… if I get back.

But instead of letting her sit, he sidled her up to the end of the bench and moved in behind her, pressing her front against it. Immediately he leaned into her, and placed a kiss on her neck. It was a chaste kiss at first, but then he opened his lips and used his whole mouth to his advantage.

He licked, nipped, and sucked, sending shivers down her body.

She was very aware of her body, her bare skin became like a live wire, jumping wherever he touched. Her nipples pebbled, begging for some attention, and her pussy throbbed. She needed more than just his mouth on her neck.

He apparently realized this, because he pushed against her, leaning her body onto the back of the bench. The weird padding forced her breasts apart and didn’t let her rub against the fabric. Instead, she was left wanting more.

Thane moved to kiss her back, pressing little nips to her spine as he moved further down her body.

She had enough playtime.

She needed something more, but as she rose to confront him, Thanatos pressed his large, rough hand into her back and pushed her gently back to the bench.

She might have whimpered, if she could, but instead she just panted.

She could let him kiss her all over. That wouldn’t be a problem at all! In fact, he had reached her butt and took a little bite of each cheek before soothing the sting with a kiss.

The sting went straight to her clit.

And then another mouth joined in the play. Sin—it must have been Sin—was giving her neck all of his attention. Although, he was running his hands down her arms, spreading heat as he went.

Okay, she forgave him for his assumption to punish her. He obviously decided against it.

He hooked his fingers through hers as Thane ran his hands and mouth down
