Grinning, she pulled out her hand and said, “Relax, relax. Just… giving you a jolt of energy. Like a cup of coffee.”
To her credit, I felt very awake and alert, and even more, my cock was rock hard again.
“Because I wanted a turn,” she added, and then went down on me as Steph moved out of the way, watching while licking her lips and moaning.
I quickly forgave her for putting her hands on my brain, as odd as that was, as I climaxed again, this time in Megha’s mouth.
“Yummy,” she said, finishing and wiping her chin.
For a moment I was too exhausted to move, then I shook my head, laughed, and said, “My turn. To make it even.”
They glanced at each other. I went down on Steph first, as she had been the first with me, but she was quick—within a minute, maybe two, tops, she was moaning, kicking the back of a seat, and nearly pulling my hair out.
Megha reclined, took off her panties, and let me move in immediately. She must have taken at least half an hour, but I loved it. Sure, I was drenched in sweat by the time she came, squirting all over my chin and chest. That’s what I call a good time.
Right there, we passed out in the van, wrapped in each other’s arms. Dreams took over, mostly in the form of memories of the summer so far, of arriving in D.C. and how my expectations had been vastly overshadowed by reality. I saw Steph first arriving at the window to my room at my aunt’s place, the first moment I realized magic was real and that I had control over it. And now, I was here, on the path to moving up through the American government. Having fought a war, and changed the trajectory of two worlds.

When I woke and saw the purple and orange clouds over Gettysburg, I sat there for a moment, enjoying the view from the van, then turned my attention to one of Megha’s breasts, soft and ready for my mouth. I woke her with kisses on her nipple, flicking my tongue across it. She giggled, sat up and kissed me, then she woke Steph with a hand up her skirt.
“Whoa, there,” Steph said, laughing and sitting up straight.
“The others will wake soon,” I said, seeing the lust in their eyes, but knowing we had to move on.
We snuck back to the roof, getting there just in time to find the stone of the gargoyles breaking. Kordelia was the first to notice me, kicking the stones apart to run over and pick me up, spin me, and laugh amid showering me with kisses.
“We fucking did it!” she said, then set me down with a grin. “Sorry, it’s just that the impact of it all is only now hitting me. Fatiha and the old Nine gone, us as the new Nine. It’s…”
“Amazing,” Aerona said, kissing me on the cheek, a hand lingering on my waist as she looked out at the stars. “But this is only the beginning.”
“A beginning?” Ebrill asked, hands to her head as she seemed to be having a harder time with waking up that night than usual.
“More memories,” Aerona explained. “They came to me in the night. And… our next steps are becoming clearer and clearer.” Her eyes flashed gold, her head turning, a finger raising. When the gold glow faded, she laughed. “Sorry. That was… new.”
“Is this going to be a normal thing?” Ebrill asked. “Because it’s kind of creepy.”
“You’re telling me.”
“Anything of relevance?” I asked.
Aerona licked her lips, then nodded. “Yes, but… mostly stuff that will help us on our search for the stones. The biggest piece, I want to wait for.”
“That’s just mean,” Kordelia chided her, earning more laughs.
“You’ll see. When we reach Riland, I’ll be sure you’re all there to hear.”
After ensuring nobody would be around to see us, but casting spells to be safe, we made our way to the vans and piled in, and soon were on the road on our way back. Comms open between us and the other van, I told them all more about what had happened with the final fight against Moronoe in Avalon, and we debated what the extra exposure to the land might mean, if anything.
“There will undoubtedly be future enemies,” Ebrill said. “I wouldn’t be surprised if there are others who are aware of Avalon, others who try to access it.”
“What about this new army of yours?” Kordelia asked, turning my way. “You think you can really trust them?”
“I think we have to try, to make it work,” I replied. “Will we incorporate all of them without question? Not a chance. We will train them, check their minds to be sure they’re on the right path, or at least trying. Like an army, it won’t happen overnight.”
“And then… the White House?” Steph asked.
I chuckled, shrugged. “That’s Galahad’s plan for me. As for the reality… we’ll see.”
From there, we chatted about what else we might do with free time, some chances to explore at night, and maybe travel. I wasn’t sure how we would do that, exactly, but Megha assured me we could find magical ways. Through the Dark Lands, if necessary.
Before long we were past the beltway in D.C. We were all eager to get back, and Galahad was glad to see us.
“You did well,” he said. “Get some rest. Tomorrow, we start on your path to the top.”
“I’m ready,” I said, then grinned. “Or… will be.”
To get this house to the point where I could truly consider it my home, it needed rebuilding. Fixing up.
“Riland,” Aerona said, seeing him enter from the kitchen. “We need to talk.”
He eyed us all, curious. “Did something happen?”
“A memory. The princess—she’s alive.”
His eyes went wide, and he wasn’t the only one in shock there. Ebrill and the others were all looking around at each other with confusion and excitement.
“She’s involved, and out there,” Aerona said. “We will find
