together onto the disheveled sheets, the stimulating scent of perspiration and sex permeating the air. Jareth remained deep inside me as we lay in each other's arms; my fingers were lightly charting his strong arms as he tenderly stroked my back.

"That. Was. Fucking. Amazing!" I gasped breathlessly. Pretty sure I was sporting a permanent grin at the moment.

Jareth chuckled. "I am glad I was able to please you love," he said affectionately. In an instant, I felt Jareth harden within me again.

He arched his eyebrow wickedly.

"Time for round two?" he roguishly queried as his fingers began to circle my nub, eliciting a throaty moan from my lips.

Oh, God, yes!

When I woke up the next evening, yes, I said evening, my friends, I was bursting with utter bliss and happiness. I blushed as I gazed over at Jareth softly snoring beside me. A peaceful smile donned his soft lips. We made love numerous times over the last 24 hours. We would stop briefly in between, for blood pouches and wine, in order to replenish the energy we had spent during our bouts of pleasuring each other. Even still, we would manage to find ways to stroke and caress each other's undressed physiques. We even made love as we washed in his Jacuzzi tub in the adjoining bathroom en-suite. We were insatiable.

It turns out; vampires have extremely enormous libidos and stamina.

Fact.

Can I get a Hell yeah!?

**********************************************************

Being one with Jareth in such a complete way felt as if we were made for one another. Our bonding filled me with peace, knowing that we had been given the gift of being able to spend an eternity together, loving each other as we do now.

Despite everything that had happened to me, I believed that I was where I was destined to be. Nothing could change this fact.

Fates be damned.

I was happy and intended to stay this way forever.

I know it may seem off-putting that I was so quickly accepting of Jareth being a vampire as well as Shay and Astrid being witches, but ironically it didn't overwhelm me as much as I would have thought. I'm sure that despite my obliviousness at the existence of the supernatural world, there had to be some part of me that still retained an awareness, even if consciously I didn't. I mean hell, me from my latter timeline had sought out the help of a witch for Christ's sake. I obviously knew something regarding the mystic realm. I was now a vampire, but I knew I'd be OK. Jareth's love enveloped me in the security that I was, in fact, safe with my newly found existence.

Sometime during one of our meal sessions, I remembered to get a hold of my girls, Shay and Astrid. I called them and assured them that I was okay. I also apologized to them both for my volatile behavior. I mean shit, I tried to eat Astrid. Where do I even begin to make it up to her?

Ish ...

Despite their easy forgiveness, I still felt a heavy blanket of guilt and planned on making it up to them with more than mere words. The three of us spoke for a while, shed a few tears, and I love yous before our call ended with the promise that I would really love to see them in person. Hopefully, sooner than later. The girls readily appreciated the underlying meaning of postponing our visit a few days. They were well aware that it definitely had to do with mine and Jareth's amazing sexcapades, which I may or may not have enlightened them about.

"Good morning, my love." A sleepy-eyed Jareth whispered in my ear as he tenderly stroked my arm. "Good evening, you mean, my love." I teased as I gently leaned over, brushed his tousled pale blond locks back, revealing those intense cobalt eyes, and lovingly kissed him.

Looking at Jareth's flawless face, I was resolute more than ever that nothing and I mean NOTHING, was going to get in the way of my happiness again. I was a vampire. I was stronger and deadlier than most predators now. God help Dasha if she tries to get in my way this time; because this time ... I'd be ready.

Chapter 20

Sammie's POV

One Year later ...

Life with Jareth has been fantastic!

He's worked with me every day to help me control my bloodlust. He was trying to make things a lot more comfortable between Shay, Astrid, and even Maleyna and myself.

Thank God ...

In the beginning, things were so awkward between my unpredictable hunger spurts and the fact that my two BFFs were carrying a severe grudge against Jareth for changing me into one of his kind. Thankfully, they accepted his decision and were willing to put aside the resentment, and a truce was formed between my boyfriend and my best friends.

Because of my newly found adjustment to life as a vampire, Jareth has been able to afford himself more time away. He was finally retaking his responsibilities amongst the Vampire Council, on which he maintains a high-ranking position.

According to Jareth, he was summoned by the council to discuss the recent development of werewolves encroaching upon the vampire's territory.

Yep, werewolves are real, too, apparently.

Being quite the insightful man, Jareth was tasked with the job of discreetly surveying the outlying lands. He was charged with verifying whether the werewolves posed any imminent threats to the vampire populous currently residing in the vicinity and then reporting to the council his findings.

He'd been away for a few days without a word. Of course, I was on edge as I eagerly awaited his return.

My BFFs were currently visiting me at mine and Jareth's home. Yep, I took up permanent residence in Jareth's stately mansion ever since I was turned by him last year. Living with Jareth was only natural, considering my newly
