her large tummy, but in the next minute, I was smacked in the face with a pillow.

“What the hell was that for?”

“That was for fucking me when I’m in labor, you jackass!”

My mouth dropped open, and I shook my head slightly. “That was amazing, Lollipop.”

“That hurt like a fucking bitch!”

“Really? Because I gotta say, even though it was the quickest I’ve come since I was a teenager, it was the most life-altering experience I’ve ever had.”

“That’s because you don’t have a baby making her way down to your vagina!”

I nodded. “Right, I can see your point.”

She gripped me by the shirt, yanking me right in front of her face. “Go get the truck and get me to the hospital before I decide to call Maggie.”

She shoved me back and I stumbled to my feet, racing toward the front door and tripping over my pants on the way. I stood and yanked my pants up, running out the door and over to my truck, pulling the door open. I went to start the truck, and realized I didn’t have the fucking keys. I got out and ran back to the house, snatching the keys off the table. I was about to run out again when I took a turn and headed upstairs to grab our hospital bag. Racing back downstairs, I ran for the truck, putting the bag in the back. I pulled the truck off the street where I parked it and right in front of the house, but as I got out, I realized that I had Mason upstairs. Shit. As I ran into the house again, I grabbed my phone and hit Cap’s number as I ran upstairs to get my kid.

“This had better be an emergency,” Cap grumbled.

“Cara’s in labor,” I shouted. “I’m grabbing Mason and taking her to the hospital, but I need someone to keep an eye on Asher and Violet. They’re at the training center.”

“We got it. How far along is she?”

I snorted and grabbed Mason out of his crib. “Let’s put it this way, I could feel her contractions squeezing my cock so tight, I thought I would pass out.”

“You were fucking her while she’s in labor?” Cap asked incredulously.

“We were in the middle of fucking when it happened. Well, I was licking my Lollipop, but-”

“Stop, just fucking stop. I don’t need to hear that shit. You’re sick.”

“Not sick,” I corrected, running down the stairs with Mason. “I had her pussy right there. She was ready for me. Do you know how long it’ll be before I get another taste of that?”

I flung the front door open and ran out to the truck.

“I’m aware. Do you remember how many kids I’ve had?”

“I was there for most of the deliveries,” I said dryly, strapping Mason in. I got in the front and took off out of the driveway, kicking up gravel as I raced toward the entrance of the property. “Alright, I’m on my way to the hospital.” My phone beeped with an incoming call, and I could see it was Cara on the touchscreen on my truck. “Hold on, Cap. Cara’s calling me.”

“What?”

I huffed in irritation. “Cara’s calling me. Hold on one fucking second.”

“I thought you said you were on the way to the hospital?”

“I am.”

“Then why the fuck is Cara calling you?”

I slammed on the brakes and spun the wheel, slamming my fist against it. “Goddamnit!”

I heard him chuckling over the phone and glared at the screen, like he could see me.

“You’re such a dumbass.”

“Fuck you,” I said, switching the call over. “Cara, I’m on my way back.”

“You left me here!”

“Yeah, but I remembered Mason.”

“Well, that’s good since he’s the one in labor!”

“Hey, you should be thanking me for remembering my kid.”

“I’ll thank you when I have this kid on the floor of our living room,” she growled.

I paled and shook my head. “You’re joking, right? That’s…that’s not really a possibility, is it?”

“It will be if you don’t get your ass back here!”

“Just hold it in. Squeeze your vagina shut until I get there. I’m pulling up now!”

I parked the truck and ran inside, relieved when I saw Cara standing there ready for me. Her face was contorted in pain, but there was no baby coming out. I grabbed her elbow and started ushering her toward the door, but she stopped me, taking a deep breath before letting out a small scream.

My eyes widened and I moved in front of her, bending down to her eye level. “Okay, Cara, this is going to be okay. You are not having a baby here. We’re gonna get you to the hospital right now.”

“Oh, God, this hurts so much. I think the baby’s coming now. I feel like I have to poop.”

I shook my head rapidly, swooping her up into my arms. I didn’t even shut the front door as I ran out to the truck. “Jesus, you’re really fucking heavy.”

“I’m pregnant!”

“I know, but…crap, it’s like dragging around a boulder.”

I got to the truck just as Cap pulled up, getting out with Rocco in tow. “Thank God,” Cara breathed out in a huff. “Someone that knows what they’re doing.”

“Are you gonna make it?” Rocco asked.

“Oh, we’re gonna make it,” I said, helping Cara into the back. “Cap, front seat.”

“Oh, no,” he shook his head. “I’m not getting in that truck. I’ve seen this episode multiple times. I get in that truck and I have to help deliver another baby.”

“Get in the fucking truck,” Rocco barked, getting into the backseat with Cara.

I got in the front, and pulled out, glancing in the back at how Rocco was trying to check on Cara over the car seat that was in the middle.

The gates took forever to open, but when they did, I peeled out in front of another car, not caring that I almost made them drive off the road.

“No, take the main road,” Cap argued. “If we take the side roads, she’s gonna have this baby on the side of the road.”

“The main roads are packed
