There were shrieks and screams all around.

The Scavenger grinned. “That’s your Spice Room gone.”

Osay paused. Perhaps he was digesting the shock. He spoke calmly, “It doesn’t make a difference,” and raised his hand.

As he moved his hand to hit the Scavenger, the hand turned into a sharp knife.

The Scavenger did a back flip and flew over the demons surrounding him. Three demons got culled as Osay’s knife hit them.

The demons gave way to Osay, who lunged towards the Scavenger. However, he again did a back flip.

“I can do this forever,” the Scavenger said. “But you can’t.”

The robot suddenly fell forward. It had been hit by a powerful jet of water. James was at his level best.

By this time, Pyros and Staler had managed to kill almost all the demons surrounding the glass casing.

Before Osay could regain his balance, the Scavenger seized the opportunity. With a giant leap, he neared the glass encasing.

He raised his hands and started to say the magic words. “Piri Toki -”

Osay realized what he was doing. He twirled around, extending his hands, which had turned into sharp knives.

The Scavenger ducked. He gritted his teeth and looked around at his friends.

“Cover me while I chant the spell. It is the only way!” he shouted.

The Scavenger pressed a button on the FLICK and turned invisible.

The robot looked around in desperation and rushed towards the glass case.

Daniel concentrated hard and with a yell, uprooted the ground on where the robot was standing. The robot toppled over. As he fell, Daniel sent a humongous tree crashing onto the robot’s head.

James rose upwards, using his FLICK, and sent spears of ice towards the robot. From the other side, Archer sent hot waves of fire on the robot.

Thomas and Staler fired fiery arrows on the robot’s body. The arrows exploded on striking.

Pyros funnelled his hands and sent a massive shockwave towards the robot.

A portal suddenly opened above the robot’s head, and a figure fell through it. It yelled and plunged a sword into the robot’s head. The figure jumped and landed next to Pyros. Pyros grinned at him and gave a welcoming smile.

Skazen nodded back.

The combined attack proved too much for Osay to handle. Meanwhile, the Scavenger got the opportunity to finish his chanting of ‘Piri Toki Chi Chi Bhoom!’ three times. The glass case disappeared.

Osay yelled, “NOOOOOOOO!” and started rotating like a tornado.

Osay spiralled with alarming speed towards the Scavenger. The others had no choice but to leap out of the way.

The Scavenger quickly pulled his Lightning Sword and raised it. From the sky, a buzz of white electricity spewed towards the sword.

The Scavenger thrust the sword towards the robot while rotating it vigorously with both hands.

The swirling robot was hit with the rotating sword.

The resulting blast was so massive that the outer layer of the robot crumbled and got consumed in fire.

A short-statured figure, draped in black cloth and wearing a thick mask, leapt out of the robot’s outer layer. The figure collapsed on the ground.

Staler, Thomas, Commander Greene and Skazen rushed towards it.

Meanwhile, the Scavenger opened the ‘Book of the Universe’ and quickly turned it over to page number 498.

He drank two whole bottles of energy serum and spoke, “Finally, the time has come.”

The Scavenger chanted a spell. The Magic Compartment opened, and the two Pages of Destiny fell out on the ‘Book of the Universe’ at the exact place from where they had gone missing.

The ‘Book of the Universe’ was now complete. It closed on its own and rose up in the air, radiating white light.

While most of the light disappeared into the fireplace on the wall, a small blob of white light rested on the Scavenger’s hand.

Pyros came rushing to the Scavenger. “Be ready! The dimension can open at any time now.”

The Scavenger focused.

Suddenly, the blob of white light shot out from the Scavenger’s hand and entered the fireplace.

The wall vibrated. Sparks flew out from the fireplace, and the air parted.

The dimension opened.

From the outside, it appeared like a dark patch on the wall.

Within a few moments, there was a massive rumbling sound. The entire place started shaking as if a massive earthquake had struck.

Two figures fell out from the dark portal side by side.

Matt was here.

But so was the Skull Warrior.

Matt and the Skull Warrior were semi-conscious and appeared too weak.

Matt was lying on his stomach with his hands extended on either side. Something was protruding from his right hand.

It was the Slayer.

The Scavenger rushed towards Matt and pulled him back, away from the Skull Warrior.

Pyros and the children knew if the Skull Warrior fully regained consciousness, all hell would break loose.

James, Daniel and Archer ran towards the ‘Book of the Universe’ and skimmed through it from pages 499 to 502 – the Pages of Destiny.

Just as they tried to tear off the Pages of Destiny, Osay slammed into them. They fell to the ground.

A fresh wave of demons swarmed from nowhere. Thomas, Staler, Skazen and Pyros immediately attacked them, preventing them from going near the children and the Scavenger.

The Scavenger tried to take the Slayer from Matt’s hand, but couldn’t dislodge it.

With each passing moment, the Skull Warrior was regaining consciousness.

The darkness in the dimension was becoming lighter. The dimension was gradually closing.

Time was running out, and the Scavenger was conscious of it.

The Scavenger rushed towards James and Archer, but he was blocked by Osay, who pointed a sword at him.

The Scavenger unsheathed his Lightning Sword.

“ENOUGH!” Osay shouted. “You won’t survive this anymore. The deal is still alive. You take your Matt, and I take the Skull Warrior. Put your sword down.”

Suddenly, Pyros shouted, “FAST! Don’t waste time! The dimension is closing up!”

The Scavenger attacked Osay, who blocked his strikes with ease.

The children tried to reach the ‘Book of the Universe’, but Osay was smartly covering it while taking on the Scavenger.

Hordes of demons had surrounded Thomas, Staler, Skazen and Pyros. The Greenies were doing all that they could by assisting the Unicorn King and his allies to fight off the demons. The Amozaks
