AM – Invasion Begins

β€œWhat do I do, what do I do?” a girl with long brunette hair, walked around her New York City apartment, as her powers were beginning to develop. She was a Stellar-Being, her powers began to develop a little while ago before the arrival of Luis, Aiden, Veronica and Allison but was not aware that Trixie was back in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She was Roxanne Hartburn, a year, and a half older than her younger sister Veronica; she was incredibly nervous of revealing her abilities to her family and friends, but she was aware that the public already knew the existence of Stellar-Beings since last year. Although she was aware that her sisters were Stellar-Beings after they facetimed about it a while back last year, but she was extremely nervous to reveal her evolving abilities, which is why she made an excuse to meet at noon rather than in the morning.

She leaned towards the window of her apartment, as her back started to develop pink, purple shadowy glass wings which made her uncomfortable, since it was one of her first times testing out her abilities. Roxanne stared out at the window and saw a bunch of the Sparrow spaceships, along with the mothership and the Freighter coming out of a portal. She began to rub her eyes and blink repeatedly making sure she was really seeing what was in the sky, meaning if it was actually real.

β€œWhat the-?” she stared out as she opened her window, to see more clearly. She saw a bunch of Sparrows fly by Manhattan and Liberty Island, as more and more started to come, she started to worry even more, since her sisters and friends could be in danger along with civilians also. Her wings began to form more and more sharper edges of glass, as she started to put her shoes on and kneeled on the edge of the window looking at Liberty Island and saw more and more Sparrows coming.

Jumping out of the window, she used her glass wings that were filled with hexagonal cells of pink, purple color, as she flew with essence of shadowy purple glass essence along with sparkles of pink glass shards due to her wings. With her flight ability enabled, the hexagonal shapes began to deploy while some of the cells stayed horizontal, to help elevate Roxanne as she flew towards a Sparrow that was about to go to Liberty Island.

SMASH!

Roxanne used her fiery slicing ability to cut through the Sparrow that got sliced in two halves as it head down towards Liberty Island.

Chapter 3

Hijacked

Date: June 26th, 2021 – 8:34 AM

The Sparrows begin to land on Manhattan and Liberty Island. Jay and Jack saw this standing at the edge of Manhattan, not too far from Times Square. They witnessed the Sparrows land and soldiers beginning to infiltrate Manhattan. The two teen boys prepared themselves as they were approaching them face to face. Jack looked at the plasma pistol by Jay’s pants, which were magnetic and could hold weaponry, without a holster or belt. He snatched the plasma pistol and pointed it towards the AI soldiers from the year 2999. As he saw Sparrows landing next to them, he ran towards it with Jay and shot the plasma pistol towards the soldiers which were revealed to be AI, as their helmets got blasted to smithereens by the plasmatic blasts.

Jay climbed aboard a Sparrow as a soldier was getting out of it, he snatched the pistol from the armed militant and pointed the pistol towards his head, blasting it off into shredded metallic pieces of machinery. There were two seats in the Sparrow, one for the pilot and the other for a gunner. As Jack shot more and more militants, Jay positioned himself to start-up the Sparrow.

β€œGET IN MAN!” Jay screamed as he started pressing buttons to try to know what was going on. The controls on the Sparrow were remarkably simple, like a car back in his timeline, since for emergencies, citizens could take control of the vehicle to land safely. Jay had experience flying many types of flying cars, other vehicles during Kimon’s invasion, and piloted a few air vehicles that were like the Sparrow, due to his father working for the US Government. This gave him the chance to fly the vehicles but never use them ever for combat. Jack did have some experience in flying vehicles but not as much as Jay, since he was taught by him during Kimon’s invasion back in 2999. Also, the fact that Jay got an entire encrypted manifest of spaceships inserted into his mind by his father for emergencies in case a war was to happen, as Jay’s father was involved in Kimon’s invasion shortly before his death.

β€œFly it now!” Jack yelled as more soldiers began to ambush him.

Jay started the controls and began to lift the lever, powered up the blue fiery engine blasts from the back as he raised the Sparrow up with Jack still on top of its long narrow snouted platform of the Sparrow, as it rose higher and higher in altitude. When it rose more than 10 meters, Jack dived into the backseat of the Sparrow as Jay maneuvered the hunk of metal around, as he was adjusting himself with the settings and seating. As Jack got inside, the shiny black glass dome closed on them, enclosing them as Jay started to move the Sparrow around uncontrollably.

β€œYou sure you know how to fly this thing?” Jack questioned Jay as he was familiarizing himself with the controls on his side for the artillery of the Sparrow.

β€œSure…. its like driving a car except with a snout to it….” Jay said as he accidentally scraped the Sparrow on the edge of a Manhattan building as he pulled the landing gear more upwards, to head higher and higher towards the sky. As the scraping ended, he said embarrassingly, β€œβ€¦I guess.”

β€œOh
