one piece repeatedly. The happy thought he was thinking of, was the last moments or memories of his beloved mother who he saw last time during Kimonโ€™s invasion, before that he had never seen her for over 12 years of his life. He really missed his mother a lot, since for the first 5 years of his life, he had a lot of good happy memories with her and Dad. But after her sudden disappearance for the next 12 years of his life, his life was not too happy with his Dad being busy working for the US government, which technically made Jay raise himself for the rest of his life. Even though, he was about to enter the 12th grade of his high school back in 2999, now he got involved with time travel experimentation, fighting against Kimon, Silver Ny and this mysterious clock faced guy too while saying his last goodbyes to his beloved mother escaping Kimonโ€™s reign. Jay was saddened that he could not come with her, escaping the planet Earth from Kimonโ€™s invasion, he wished that he couldโ€™ve gone to E2 with the New Yorkers escaping Kimon. But deep down, Jay knew that he was the only one who could stop it all, despite the limitation of Stellar-Beings in 2999.

He thought about the promise and last words he said to his mother, Mary Lemer. He was too scared to repeat those last words in his mind since it just brought him more sadness instead of happiness. The distraction of these thoughts was helping and benefiting Jay a lot, as he finally made it to the halfway point of the bridge. But as he looked straight ahead at the entrance of the Traveler ship, he saw AI militants beginning to approach him fast with their plasma weapons at the ready. Jay was nervous now, that his reflex suit on him was gonna start reacting to danger around him and help save his life. That was not the part that scared it, the scary and nervous thought was that the movements that he was gonna make acrobatically with the reflex suit, would cause a lot of tension and increased anxiety, since he was on a narrow holographic platform.

Steadily, intensely, Jay nervously pulled out the plasma pistol that Jack gave  to him earlier on, as he aimed at the AI militants coming towards him. But suddenly out of nowhere, he did sideways flip, to dodge a plasmatic blast from behind him. As he dodged and landed on the holographic bridge, he saw more AI militants coming from the Freighter. He was trapped, sandwiched in the middle of the entire holographic bridge while high up in the sky. Frightened, scared, and worried, he knew that he was trapped and at the same time his heart began to pace faster and faster, as he dodged more plasmatic blasts on a narrow bridge.

Tired, he did somersaults, semi-flips carefully not to fall off the bridge itself while he was also trying to aim and shoot but was very clumsy with weapons in general. Jay was not a fan of using plasmatic weapons, he admitted to himself many times that its not easy as it looks, entirely different from video games to real life. But in his timeline, video games were more like reality, meaning holographic projections where you could interact with the actual video game itself. Holding the plasma pistol as his right palm was sweating a lot, he nervously tried to dodge with his reflex suit and aim at the same time. His feet and hands kept landing on the edge of the narrow holographic bridge, every time he finished performing a dodge or agile stunt.

Sizzling burns began to appear on Jayโ€™s shoulder as the plasmatic blasts penetrated through his jacket and were one too many for the reflex suit to comprehend and dodge all. He knelt in pain due to the burning plasma blasts penetrating a bit of his skin along with the overcoat he was wearing. He was kneeling on the holographic bridge, while his back was rotated facing towards the Freighter, as he turned his head towards the Freighter concentrating on the AI militants surrounding him as they got nearer and nearer to him.

As the AI militants approached Jay, he attempted to grab one of their plasma rifles, as he pointed towards another soldier right behind him. Using this tactic, he forced one of the militants to shoot their own, but it only worked temporarily as Jay looked back down, seeing how high he was while only halfway down the journey on the bridge. The fear of heights came back to his heart  which distracted him giving the armed militants the upper hand.

SMACK! THUD!

As Jayโ€™s fear of heights distracted him, his back was hit with the hilt of a rifle while another militant grabbed his hands and handcuffed him with plasma handcuffs. Jay thought that he was an immediate failure, but deep down, it was extremely hard for him to overcome his fear of heights. To him, to even make it halfway across the Bridge was a big milestone considering his fear of heights. He looked up the sky as his face was being scanned by the AI militants, he hoped that Kaleidoscope Girl or Lilac would help him out, but they were nowhere in sight. They probably were saving civilians on the mainland in Manhattan, not battling in the sky as of now, Jay thought. The militants moved Jay to the mothership, after they confirmed that it was him based on the identification scan.

โ€œYou better take me to Silver Ny,โ€ Jay muttered in anger.

โ€œIโ€™m afraid that request cannot be met,โ€ an AI militant spoke.

โ€œWhat do you mean? Heโ€™s on that Planetarium X1 Traveler, isnโ€™t he?โ€ Jay spoke in confusion with his hands constrained by plasma handcuffs.

โ€œYou will comply to Timemaster for the crimes you have committed upon this synergy,โ€ the AI militant responded.

โ€œSynergy? Timemaster? Canโ€™t wait
