an outpouring of love I will be eternally awed by and grateful for. Romance readers, book bloggers, booktubers, bookstagrammers, librarians, booksellers, book clubs, you make books what they are and this industry would collapse without you: Kini, Kez, Samantha Carle, Samantha Tan, Addie Yoder, Sil, Brie, The Book Hoes (Shruti, Grace, and Sara), Laura, thehireader, Tej, Nick, Yvette, Wendy, Ella, Rumsha, Danielle, Dana, JeevesReads, Nitya, Bonnie, Nikita, Mith, both Madisons (SailorMadison and Princess of Paperback), jennscletus, Hailey, Deanna, Susan Lee, Christina Pishiris, Christina Lauren, Martha Waters, Mary E. Roach, Kili, Allison Reilly, Liz, Melinda, Mary, Lily, Jana, Pri, Beth, Flora, Purabi, Rachel Lynn Solomon, Hazel, Mazey, Bae Crate, Anjeli, Elyssa, Dahlia Adler, Fatema, Yotesgurl, India Holton, Ananya, Ahana, Mar, Amira, Vee, Silvia, Meghan De Maria, Azrah, Dija, Kaitlyn, Colleen, Mandie, Miranda, Falon, Konstantina, and Jessica. It’s impossible to list every single one of you, but from the bottom of my overfilled heart, thank you. The amazing support you’ve given me has made not only my year (a year that, henceforth, shall never be spoken of again) but my entire LIFE. Hugs for all of you.

To my husband and children, thank you for your unconditional love, for making my life so joyful, and for being the coolest, funniest people ever. I’m so lucky that I get to hang out with you guys every day. Thank you to my brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Sam, for reading my book and being so nice about it. And even though they’re never going to see this, I would like to thank my favorite band, Glass Animals, for existing.

To my fellow anxious people: you are wonderful and you are lovable just the way you are.

Writing the first draft of Twice Shy in 2019 was a TRIAL (the second-book curse is real!!!). When it came time to do a rewrite in the fall of 2020, it became a fluffy escape for me, an idyllic little world with warm characters that was a comfort to visit, and which I fell so in love with. My wish for this book is that if you’re ever in need of a fluffy escape, Falling Stars can be a safe harbor for you as well.

Thank you for visiting; come back again soon!
