Teddy Tip is a good old dog. He may be a mutt, but to his owner, Marion, she says he has a heart of gold. Teddy Tip is a great dancer, and a howling good singer. He loves to play games with his owner and he also likes to bring her presents. But, to Marion what he calls presents are also called roadkill. But Marion still loves him, very much indeed.
Teddy Tip was named Teddy Tip because he is a black dog with a white tip on the end of his tail. If anyone asked her if she was lonely, she says, "No, I'm not lonely. I got a good old man around, and his name is Teddy Tip."
Teddy Tip loves his owner as much as she loves him. He would fight off a bear for her.
Once, a big old black bear came up to Marion's house, and Marion was outside working in her garden. The bear was close to Marion, and Teddy Tip saw the bear about to attack, so he jumped in front of the bear and scared him off with a super-powered bark. He sent the bear flying off in the other direction.
Marion saw what had happened, and she said, "I would do the same for you."
