How to look after your magical chicken by QuailyCat (howl and other poems TXT) 📕

Once, millions of years ago, a group of normal hens and cockerals accidentally strayed into a portal to the magical world of Eunemphia. They were attacked by the natives to one of the floating worlds for food, and many were killed, but the six that were left, three hens and three cockerals, escaped to another floating world. That world was abandoned, and the six chickens lived in peace.
However, there was still much to learn about their new home, including the magical plants. The most important of the magical plants are the six fruits. There is Redfruit, Orangefruit, Yellowfruit, Greenfruit, Bluefruit, and Purplefruit. All are incredibly rare. One day, they found bushes of each of the fruits, and each chicken ate a fruit of the colour they prefered. That was when the fruit's power was discovered. Each chicken took a different colour. The cockeral that ate a Redfruit turned red, the hen that ate a Bluefruit turned blue, etc. When each of the chickens took a mate, they all had four chicks, two taking their mother's colour, two taking their father's.
Eventually, the world was filled with wild chickens of different colours.
