Entering the darkness

It belongs to no man, no country nor religion, it simply is a soul.

I have always had an adumbrate feeling that my soul chose me and not I it. Which is why I allow my heart to follow my soul through the depths of time, to vagabond through this world. To do as it will.

Some may say a soul can live a thousand lives…and this could be why I feel as if I have seen the future and the past. yet live in the present of future past. I can sense what is meant to be, but simply refuse to believe, and yet somehow it all still comes to be .

This is the purpose of life. You cannot fathom it until the end. And even then, you still aren’t sure it really ends. For in those last few moments… in which you relive your life, it will seem as if eternity was slowly passing by. It is then though that you realize… that it all started from the end. But in the time, it took to envisage you have already found yourself adrift in the great abyss.

From which point on you gaze forth and see nothing but darkness… darkness and more darkness. You feel as if you have been adrift for a thousand years, staring aimlessly into the void devoid of everything… until which time the light appears, and you are cast forth back into this world. Never wanting to see the eternal abyss again. And this, this, is how you know, you have come to your end once before.
