Difficult at times to be
Harder even now to see
The deeply hidden mind of thee
And truth eventually comes to me.

Love

Love is as rare as fairy dust
Blowing in a lonely wood
Love we seek because we must
Though never understood

Love it has the highest price
Freedom in totality
Love requires greatest sacrifice
Giving yourself eternally

Love is this love is that
Love is everything you are
Given freely on a silver plat
Shining brightly like a star.

Stay

Stay, do not chase your tail
Find out where your body ails.

Go,do not hide behind your fear
That puts a hole in your soul like a burning spear.

Slowly,do not leap before you look
Lest you regret what vision mistook.

Today,not the day after tommorow
To tarry here could only lead to sorrow.

Change, you are not a brick in a wall arranged
A slave resisting freedom is mighty strange.

Be,my friend, just try to be
Instead of tossing, turning in the waves of the sea.

Football!

Crunching tackles, total war
Two vying sides on field I saw
Screaming supporting fans who swore
Today it can't end in a draw

Push and drive and slave until
The deadlock broken it's one - nil
Tired fired up and still
We wont relent stick to the drill

The coach sees fit my back to stab
Hey O'Neil you're called up sub
Tears come up into my eyes
Yes men cry at glory's demise

In come glory in comes pain
One man goes down for team to gain
The team responds amidst great strain
Opponents must today be slain

It saddens that this way of sport
Is slowly getting to be forgot
And t.v screens forever beam
On bright eyes forever dimmed.

S.O.H.K

She looks so sad, she cries so hard
The unreal reality of living so bad
She laughs hysterically, she is mad
It's not her fault this wingless bird

One last tear on eyelid to balance
One last musing in unceasing trance
One last dice with death, a dance
One last hurrah -one last chance

She lived, she tried, she saw
The rough hard surface sraped her raw
With gentle paw concealing claw
At her beautiful heart they tore

The pain she felt, imbued with sorrow
She did not want to see tomorrow
And every day she'll sit and pray
Lament and wail for a soul astray.

Past Present and Future

Present came to Past and shouted at him
Why are you so pale, vague and thin?
Past she whispered back so frail
Because I have already been

My future is you, you're past is me
And intertwined forever shall be
I'm not thin it's just an appearance
Paled by the brightness of your countenance

The present said with less noisy tone
I now can see you are not alone
But reside together with other pasts
Clinging like sails in storm to mast

Not *pamoja yet are we my friend
Because time separates our ends
All look like past and past to you
But we view each other in relation to time

I may be past to you but to another I'm future
And you may be what I said you are
But fall behind another future's scar
And that is how it is.

Sunshine Summer

waking up to another day
Looking at your beauty way
And all I can find fit to say
Is please ,me dear, stay that way

Looking to another time
Lately the sun it rarely shine
But so long as you are mine
It will always be summer sunshine
:-)

Time out

I was away for a little time
To see and stay in another clime
The pendulum forever chimed
But I ignored the time

I took a trip to another place
A place with grace in time and space
The moments fleeted by in pace
But I let them slip by and erase

I cried a tear when 'twas time to leave
I could not in my heart believe
That from taking it was time to give
But I tried to hang on heavens eaves

This time is relegated to the past
To come back for now is a must
Though led by sail tied to the mast
We must traverse the oceans vast.

World unfurled

The world is going round and round
The start the end cannot be found
On steam it runs but not run down
This ship will never run aground

But that's not how it feels for me
I'm tired sick and dont want to see
The withered tulips the oily grass
The lovely pond thats now a marsh

When day is grey and night is black
The plans we made they came unstuck
Twice once we thought at last to be
But twice but once it couldn't be

Now I wallow in lamenting regret
Trying stoically to try and forget
What I wish and hope and pray
Is tomorrow should not be again today.
