Dreaming

DREAMING

Dreaming

that I dared to

become a reality

or not?

Yet to find the

one

who vaguely

entered my realm

of intimacy

Could it be?

is

he the one

that

has haunted my dreams

for years?

Hope

is something

we all bear in mind

to

dare to dream,

dreaming to hope

Of

finding the one

who

sets your soul

afire in a blaze

of

heated emotions!

A

dream to

soon become a

reality for me

to

be united

To

share my

realm of intimacy

no

longer to sleep

alone

To

find the warmth

I

sought in my dreams

will

become a reality

in the

blink of an eye!

I hope

through

my dreaming!

Breathing

Breathing

Breathing in,

breathing out

stepping up

to take a bow

you work hard

everyday

for what-no pay

nay!

To feel the

satisfaction

of a good deed

for a friend

A smile, and

kind words, or

maybe a hug or shake

along the way

makes your worth

from being alive,

while

breathing in,

breathing out.

Changes

Changes

I woke up to a sunny day,

soon it turned gloomy & gray

I hunkered down in my cozy home

as I heard the storm

begin to thunder & clash

The wind blew hard

as the rain came down

I wasn't sure if my place

would stay aground

Many thoughts ran through

my brain that day

could this raging storm

be the death of me

Loving life- so much left to do

is it possible for me

to survive this rage

mother nature has come to pay

just as I thought

my life was over

it became quiet as a mouse

with the passing of the storm

I was blessed

to live one more day!

Perfume

Perfume

She donned her black dress

getting ready for her date

standing in front of the mirror

checking her makeup too

before the familiar

knock at the door

Yet, before he came

she picked up

the perfume bottle

to spritz a little bit on

Shards of Glass

Shards of Glass

As I walk down

the halls of shame

no lights are visible

days are filled with gloom

I am walking on

shards of glass-

your broken heart

strewn about

I continue on,

can the damage

be repaired?

Remains a mystery

for now I walk

on shards of glass

each cut deepens

with every step

taking the walk

down the long

hallway of shame

I press on.

Away

Away

I sit and stare

as he turns

to walk down

the dusty road

He made his decision

to go his own way

not a goodbye, or

see ya later was said

So here I sit

on my rocker

with tunes playing

in the background

I want to call him

maybe, he would

turn around, or not

all I see is the blue horizon

Patience

Patience

As

we bide our time

to count the days

when you will

be mine

Forever more

is such a long,

long time

for now I'll

remain patient

Until the time

when we no

longer bide our time

to be united

as one

A Warm Embrace

A Warm Embrace

Feelings

your tender touch

excitement abounds

from

your warm embrace.

Stone

Stone

He took stone by stone

much like his ancestors

were taught by theirs

as his young son looked on

What was he going to build

his son did not know

yet, he studiously watched

as he took each stone to stack them

His son watched in awe

as a pile of broken rocks

soon became one row,

then two, three and four high
