So far from home
Is where I cry
My broken wing

Must I hide in this rain?

Love is near
Look far away

Lock away your heart
Love does take
Run from this love

But this is the third and last time

Fighting fire with fire
You will only burn
I’ve been down that road
And now I swear it’s your turn
So many lies told
Way too many to remember
Just to think I loved you
Not too long ago in September
I thought this was real
But I guess I was wrong
Its time I wave you away
You won’t hold me down for long

Fear of flying, fear of dying
Isn’t it all the same
One purpose, one mission
One rule of the game
There is the leader,
The one you never crossed
There is the pet
Who’d catch a bone if it was tossed
There is the muscle
Who everyone fears
A single word
Could bring a few tears
There is the beauty
Who brings jealousy to all
If you are a boy
You’re destined to fall
And there is me
The curse of the game
I always make it hard
And I drive you insane
But I’m not the one to blame
Blame the rules of the game
