My deeply cut scar
Will it ever go away?
Its been here for years,
Forever it shall stay.
The burning in my chest a
very harsh pain,
It comes then goes again
and again
From the fiery pits of Hell
to the fire in my heart,
No matter what they're both
a forever spark.
I sit here in the dark,
mocked of wronging and shame
Now I see why the blind man
was okay being lame.
Always told not condem
or be condemed.
But the hole in my heart
cannot be fixed, sown, or mend
I know its not God,
He's already here
fixing the pain I hold so dear
Now I lay my head down to sleep.
The soul of me the Lord may keep.
To afraid to end my life,
The love of my family will cause
much strife.
I can just go and endure the pain.
For it is God's choice when my soul
shall be slain.
But for now I remain burned.
