Just A Girl

When my world cracked,
I reached for anything to hold myself up.
Finger's blistering I couldn't pull myself up.
There I was dangling and loosing my grip.
Lightheaded I let go,I slipped.
Waving goodbye to the shadows of my past while as I was falling,
my name they were calling.
When I hit solid ground there were no memories of me to be found.
I was lost,I was cracked just like my world it wasn't right I was just a girl.

Roses Are Red: My Twist

Roses are red symbols of love,
but don't get pricked so is blood.

Violets are blue as a stormy sky,
and so are bruises from a troubled guy.

Sugar is sweet like a box of chocolates,
as is honey surrounded by bees.

Look out!

Look out!

They do tend to sting.

When I Close My Eye's

When I close my eye's I can pretend you're still here.

A warm summer breeze could be your whisper in my ear.

And the sound of a bird's far off song,

could be a tune that we know and you sing along.

When I close my eyes I'm in your presence.

Like the scent of roses I can still feel you essence.

When I close my eyes I'm not alone.

I never had to say goodbye and your coming home.

When I close my eyes I don't have to let go,

I could stay that way forever, though you would never know.

R.I.P. Mama

We Just Might

It wasn't love at first sight
But it came with lust that one night.
Our Legs entwined unlike our minds.
Crossed feeling's mistakes now love and lust have turned to hate.
Tears of pain never joy, you crushed me the crash I couldn't avoid.
Lies come quickly like leaves on a breeze. Truth isn't so easy I have to beg and plead.
Promises broken just like that shattered glass. You holler I scream when will this pass?
I ask you to stay my words hit your back. I tell you to go you always come back.
At first we were bright, bright like the sun. When the sun was setting why did I not run.
Now where dark as night and stars don't grant wishes,
I'm faithful to you, but your so suspicious.
If you loosened your grip I still wouldn't leave.
There is a part of that heat still deep within me.
Do you feel it too? Though the fuse blew I will forever love you.
From darkness to light, we'll come back make it right. I hope,
we just might.

I Am Frozen

A chill settled over us when we lost it all.

There were ice burgs rising between a family drowning in the coldest of oceans,

waiting for the thaw that just wont come.

I am frozen, still waiting for the warmth.

Kryptonite

You said that you were Super Man and I could be your Lois Lane

But you're so predictable and it ended just the same.

You are not invincible I'm the girl who can crush stone.

Not a force to recon with while prowling you should know.

You are far from Super Man but while you were missing in the sky,

you should have come back down to earth and met me eye to eye.

Now I'm no longer Lois Lane you can call me Kryptonite.
