Think again

So, you deem yourself smart
Your knowledge unbeatable
Your background impeccable
You believe you have what it takes
To change the world, mend the wrongs
With a sharp mind and a bold voice
Nothing will remain untouched,
After your words have been spoken
Revolutionary ideas, remarkable intuition.
But I have some bad news for you
You are not wanted
In a world of distorted ideals
Where mediocrity is proclaimed perfection
And ambition is labeled as greed
You glorify your freedom
But the chains are tied to the bone
Slave to a system that wants you to fail
Intelligence and honor
Excellence and peace
Are meaningless words, parallel to reality
Don’t get me wrong, you can win
If you are willing to accept
Some blood on your hands
Some knives in your back
Are you strong enough
To open your eyes and see
The world for what it truly is
With the suffering and fear
Hypocrisy and facades
Can you smell the stench of rotting integrity
The corpses of dignity
The last remains of humanity
I am not threatening you
I am pleading you to think again

Ardent red

You cannot let go, cannot forget
Everything in the night
However easy it may seem
Smother a star and stay beneath the eyelids
Smother too, the bitter moon with a cloud

Ardent red, color my silence
Ardent red, on a smile that died
Ardent red, to hide my pain

In the night I lose myself
With the night I forgive you
I hide you beneath the ribs that hurt
With the bitter moon
When everything I desire is ardent red
I don’t want to lose you to the world outside
Remain unchanged - unquenchable red

Fight

Shout
The roar of a proud lion
With the intensity of a hurricane
Taste the warm blood on your icy tongue
Rip open the corporate copper corset
Clench your fists tight
Feel the animalistic adrenalin
Raging from every corner of your rusty veins
Raise your voice
You have nothing to be afraid of
The primordial desire for revenge
The lust for velvet victory
Deny the dark hues of defeat
Release the malevolent demons
Dare to open your eyes
Destroy the ominous barriers
Impossible is nothing and nothing is impossible
Swallow your fears
Fight

Lost it

Despise how hard you try, my empty soul
Will not be filled with ancient, decaying lore
I refuse to crave anyone’s forgiveness
I reject outdated, trivial ideals
My inner rhythm guides my apprehensive steps
I can find my nirvana and understand
Grow and learn, fall and accept defeat
I am much too brave to be threaten to believe
Obsequious sheep and coercive benevolence
I am no longer part of you
Even so, I keep my head held high and fight
I am able to make mistakes
Without fearing the implausible consequence
I accept a benign, absolute, emptiness above
I cannot be sedated by hollow hopes and pernicious promises
I dare to think, I strive to disbelieve
The light I seek, the energy I crave
The meaning for more, the desire for completeness
Comes not from above but from inside
So I’ll close my young eyes, open my daring heart
And make the best of the palpable reality
Until eternal slumber engulfs my final breath

Today

As dawn breaks yet again
Red hues of victory days gone forever
Now turn gray by the grimly grief
Drip by drip, we lose everything we craved
Every brilliant spark burns the filthy flesh
The song that is so passionately redundant
Has now become the anthem to the gray race
Words escape the silence
create swords of absurd obsession for the mindless voices
The bitter moon engulfs the sorrowful screams for help
As the smoke clears away
The anxiety and regrets are still alive and well
The endeavors are futile as entropy refuses to cease
Nothing more than obsequious crisis
Mediocre achievements in an intellectual deprived domain
Waiting and waiting for the extraordinary to happen
Everyone is right until proven wrong
But nobody is there to question the incongruity
Nobody is there to plea redemption
