IN MY FATHER'S EYES... by Evangheline Farcas
In my father's eyes...
That were so deep and blue,
I saw the mystery explained..
Of the Saviour's love
In my father's eyes...That were so warm,
I saw a selfless sacrifice...
I saw unconditional forgivenss..
I saw the Holy Spirit living deep within his soul.
In my father's eyes...
I saw the fire of true passion,
For the broken,
For the hurting,
For the lonely,
For those forgotten,
For the lost,
For the homeless,
For the hopeless...
Through my father's eyes...
I learned to see Jesus,
I learned to live for Him.
Through my father's voice
I learned to make a choice
And stand for what is right,
Through my father's voice
I learned to tell the truth,
I learned to speak for those who can't
To defend the broken and the weary...
My father...
Dear sweet daddy...
Papa...
Tati...
Rest now daddy...
Rest in the Father's arms untill He calls us too...
Rest now daddy,
And look into your FATHER'S eyes
And there the reflection will be of us, longing to join you.
DREAM
by Evangheline Christina Czuczuka
This is a poem I wrote a long time ago, I just refound it. It is actually based on a dream that God gave to me.
I had a dream that we were waiting
There were multitudes in a field of green
Looking towards the stars of heaven
Some were restless and impatient
Some said soon and some said never,
But all kept looking towards the stars of heaven.
I had a dream that some were waiting and some were leaving
And soon this multitude lay divided...
Those who left and those who stayed.
And as each one left the stars would twinkle a little dimmer
As a tear in the night would shimmer.
Those who left voiced they would return once more...
Perhaps tomorrow.
But how is it that they did not see HIM comming!
Comming as their backs were turning even nearer,
Turn your backs oh great multitude!
I had a dream that HE took us in HIS arms to heaven,
Us who stayed, not those who left...
And as we rose up towards heaven I looked down in the fields of green,
Now those who left were looking up towards heaven,
'Take us too, oh take us too!' I could hear their souls now crying,
And as the flames arose on earth, peace rose us to heaven.
But I saw the SON OF MAN,
A tear in HIS eye in the midst of rejoicing,
And I understood in part, that HE still saw the ones who left...
And HIS heart seemed to be breaking,
'I knocked, they did not open,
I called, they did not answer,
I was comming to them, but they left...'
