Thinking back on all the good times we’ve shared
I remember long phone talks because we cared
Your kind advice helped me in so many ways
and your love and inspiration always brightened my days
We tried to cheer each other up when times were bad
so that neither of us would have to be sad

I hope you know how much you’re appreciated and cared about
for you’ve been my lifetime friend and best sister, no doubt
You will never know how much pride I have for the person you are
your strength, courage, and determination are to be admired, by far
You always know the right things to say to make me feel good
I want to keep you forever, oh, how I wish I could

I remember how your laugh and smile could brighten the darkest days
your beauty and personality is like a thousand rays
I never knew anyone could have such an impact in my life as you
I’m so proud you’re my sister, Linda Sue
We never know how our future will go
I only know that I will miss you so

You’re so much a part of me and I dreadfully fear
that life will never be the same without you here
Though God is wanting you to come home
and to not suffer or be alone
Sweet sister, no matter how hard I try
I will never know how to say good-bye

So when I miss you so much and the stars
are shining in the night sky afar
I will look for you, Linda
you’ll always be the brightest star
