Sincerly, Me
Too old for time,
Dont think toleration is the answer,
The question is the key,
You're right about me,
I can't be elated,
Can't be sated within,
The confines i dwell asunder,
Waste away my lust for this life.
Purge the lips,
Talking in the grey,
My smile black,
Unable to get it right,
Can't say the words,
Solve the puzzle,
Or mend the cracks.
I can't fake another lie,
Turn the screw,
Always the latter,
Digging in,
The worry and the wounds.
Chemical kiss,
I've hit the feeling,
Coma caress,
Bottom is all that i've got left,
Hand this life away,
To the breath on my neck,
This diversion,
And senseless circumstance.
My levee's breaking,
I don't want to drown you,
The flood of my heart torn apart,
Don't want to hear you screaming silent,
Inhaling salt and sand,
Complimenting the complete lack of oxygen.
Problematic,
All the little things,
Its not what you do,
It's what you dont.
Caught in a repititious loop,
But happiness just doesn't flow as elequant,
As misery,
As disdane,
As a knife to the heart,
And the perfect sound it makes.
This Too Shall Pass
It binds,
Ultimatum scrawled,
Blood X on the dotted line,
Closed spaces,
Locked doors.
Sympatico,
Can take no more,
Symbiotic,
Eat your heart out,
Symbolic,
It's the little things in life,
Like having your name in lights.
Hall of fame,
Hollywood,
Worship and control,
Flowers at your door.
But the spotlight has moved over,
And the last days,
Dissapeared in the cut of diamonds,
Such a flawed reflection,
Representation of a former life.
Ascess,
Chimical abstruction,
Cruel mistress,
Opressive obsession,
Falling dust,
Crop circles in your eyes.
Empty the cache,
The cuts go deeper than the wounds,
Wake up,
From eyes swen shut,
Dubious intentions,
At best.
There is something that doesnt belong,
Crawlspaces,
No fallen tears over your grave,
Welcome the needle,
To whats underneathe the skin,
Welcome comfort,
Embrace the disgrace,
Hold it in your hands,
And squeeze slow.
Found, The Way of Wings
They'll be glory,
In your mythology,
Disregard the warnings you've been hearing,
Heed only to that which is calling.
Is it so bright,
That you want to touch it?
So warm,
That you need to feel it?
So reckless,
With a desire to be near it?
Icarus,
You've found your wings,
Fly,
Fly.
Initial onset,
Take off like the rush of a drug,
Sweeping in like a flood,
Eyes closed in splendor, savor.
It is what it is,
Once you've got flight,
There is no going back,
Sometimes you just dont understand the story.
Lift away,
From your prison,
No time to hesitate now,
Nor to flail.
Fused from wax,
Candles spent,
No feathers left,
Icarus fell into the sea,
Woe,
Woe.
Your lament,
Let it drown in the deep,
Feel no fear,
But only curiosity.
A fathers job well done,
Exiled still,
Father, well done,
Father, is this worth dying for?
Not everyone wants to be a hero,
A price,
A king,
A thief,
A lion,
A maker of men.
But there will be glory,
In your mythology,
Open these pages,
Never to forget,
Feathers made of wax,
And tied 'round the skin,
You will fly too high,
Lose yourself in cloudless skies.
Icarus fell into the sea,
But you don't need those wings,
Just swim,
Swim.
The Upset
I'm awake,
Miserable in frozen hell,
And whats aquired?
Frost bite,
Ends meat.
Blank face,
Winter eclipses my own chill,
Welcome to the upset,
Cold shoulder adornment.
What secrets do the skin hold in?
Pound of flesh,
Ounce of soul,
Soul to evacuate,
In passing breath.
See my breath when i exhale,
Blends with the starry sky,
All those passing wishes made,
All those empty midnight lies.
I'll be there foreve.
I'll love you till the end.
Heroin like voice,
Addicting,
So bad for you,
So heart stopping.
We fought the sun to stay in storybook land.
What if i undid what was done?
Took back everything that i said that wasnt true?
Burn the pages,
Ingest the last spent sentiment,
Slip on what reality becomes.
Pages falling from my book,
To the fire,
To the pit,
To ash,
To nothing,
They become.
A sore cold that wont be warmed,
Whisper me away once more,
Into the dawn,
Into sweet nothing,
The impossible that came before,
Waiting for this feeling to fade,
Butterflies with lead feet.
DOA
I feel crazy,
A mismatch of obscure,
Commotion within,
Circle run,
Up and out.
I feel the stir,
The click,
The boom.
I feel crazy,
Gunpowder residue,
Broken cross and chain,
Muddy footsteps a size too big,
Baby powdered rubber.
I feel executioner,
Floowing through,
The murder,
Executing you.
I feel the body,
Lugging,
Tugging,
Heavy slump,
Ankle pull,
What a drag,
Trail i'm leaving,
In the dirt.
I feel the body,
Red and brown makes?
Bloody puddles,
Leave them behind,
Further away from home,
The hole is dug.
I feel the wood,
Rough and cold,
Splintered hands,
Breathe in the bitter wind,
Leaf crunch,
Clink of rock,
Deeper the world goes.
I feel the wood,
Throw it away,
The body i once felt,
Sickening thud,
Just once,
Muffled by the sound of silence.
I feel the earth,
Spins round,
Packs solid underneathe feet,
As io exit this place,
Final place.
I feel the earth,
Black and indifferent,
I look back,
My body leaving,
The whole,
Is empty,
Dead on arrival.
I was never here.
The Bitter Rival and Fight for Loves' Survival
The smell of heat,
Takes me back,
I get drawn in,
Just when i thought it was all over...
It consumes again.
Like a dragons jaws,
Swirling black and vast,
It takes me down,
Into blackness,
Into depths...
The sun burns green,
Of this i've told you,
Though you dont listen,
Silly mortal,
Of this coil.
I pool,
Run over with desire,
Of this you know already...
Because i've told you,
Silly child,
Slave to sleep.
I have the ivy growing,
Up over my windows,
It covers my eyes,
But i still see,
How you've...
You've outgrown me.
Oh the ocean,
It sucks you in,
That temptress,
Yes i'm older than she.
But i offer solace,
I offer peace,
I offer sanctuary,
When you can find none,
I offer...
All that my walls can bare.
And meger they may be...
I open forth,
I offer solace,
When you have no shoulder to cry,
I offer peace,
When you have a spirit in dire need,
I offer sanctuary,
When back to you are turned,
I offer...
Everything.
Lack of Sleep: Abundence of Cold.
Rain like death beating down in my eyes,
This wind is bitter cold, Like an angels breath,
Body twists in agony, And winter crisp,
And I dont want to be here, I dont want to feel like this, anymore.
I remember now, Why I said I'd never, Never again,
Why, these lies? I always tell myself? Why?
I get lost where i dont want to be,
Caught in the middle of a mixture,
That isnt who i am, Isnt really me.
And i cant banish the bad thoughts,
Like banshees, Like curse, Like halloween, Like dark light,
Which in i can barely see.
I cant imagine tomorrow,
Cant see the way, And if the way is the same as always,
I dont want to go there, I'd just rather run away and hide,
Dont want to see the looks in their eyes, When they say, I told you so.
When i fall back on finding it hard to be a good girl,
When i claw at the seams, The stitching holding together,
The inner peace of me,
When i cant stand the thought, Another god damned grief given,
When i dont want to gasp to breathe.
This winter isnt even white yet, Hasnt fallen past the fall,
Yet i already feel myself tripping, Slipping, Into the past,
A place unlonged for, Unresolved, Unwanted like a bad taste,
A strangers touch, Unwanted like this weight,
And the situation i see spinning, full circling.
I remember now, Why I said I'd never, Never again,
Why, these lies? I always tell myself? Why?
I get lost where i dont want to be,
Caught in the middle of a mixture,
That isnt who i am, Isnt really me.
I remember why, Why i said i'd never, Never again,
I hate this feeling, The reason before it,
I hate the voices in my head, The ones that scream, Whisper and yell,
The ones telling me things i hope arnt true,
All the little things, Secrets about you.
In the Glow of the Black Light
Melancholy glitter,
Starry eyed,
Eyes wide,
All delight,
Child like,
But not innocent,
Something sweet,
However the case,
Whatever the point may be.
It is what it is,
Take it,
Leave it,
Pick it up again,
From the dirt,
It's underneathe the skin.
Phoenix rise,
From the depth,
Of death,
Dead long,
Since buried,
Forgotten,
With flowers in the past,
Hours, days, years spent,
In the silence,
Rebirth of a greatness,
It isnt subtle,
But complete,
And relevent.
Lay back down,
Eyes closed one more time,
Drift in strange lands,
Purple glow,
Like eerie alley ways,
In damp cities,
Lay back down,
History beside me,
Present, guide me,
Future, don't elude me.
Something feels right,
Enveloped warmth,
Be still, heart,
Not a stranger,
But a new beginning,
Finds my door each night,
Keeping distance,
Isn't boding well,
Big ideas,
Lost in space,
Puppy dog,
Bedroom eyes.
Rain makes me think of you,
It pours over me,
I feel like a fool,
See what you make of me?
Greek God's turned his blind eye.
Where Have All The Pirate Gone? Act 2
Another sunrise,
Another piece of corperate america down the fountain,
Another golden envelope,
That i wont to fold into,
Cant send me away,
On the sails of colder winds.
Let go of the wheel,
Let fate steer the way,
Better to correct the crash and burn,
Than to try and salvage the fruitless womb.
Smoke,
Filtered or Un,
Used to,
Could have picked your poison,
Now delt from skeletons own hand,
The uncle you used to have.
Circle gone to the mild,
The meek, for sure,
They inhareted the spirit too,
Swallowed down with the last drop of rum.
Where have all the pirate gone?
Where, the ideal?
Where has our new world gone?
Where, the brave.
Where, the passion?
Where, the wild?
Why have all the witches burned?
Why, all the while...
Where have all the pirates gone?
The sales are set,
The day anew,
The map has been drawn out,
All checks met.
Another dawn,
Could be another dusk,
The suns the only thing that stays the same,
Cant change a billions years set in sky,
Though human nature says we'll try.
