You've seen me
at my very worst
and yet, still
you love me.
Maybe you love me
in spite of myself,
jumping over my faults,
knowing I wish
I didn't own them.
It's all relative,
considering, you've
also seen me at my
very best and you
love me then, too.


You seem to know
it's the reflection
I see in your eyes
that compels me,
like cream in milk,
to rise above
and be my best
more often.
But is it that?
It doesn't
really matter ...
you know me and
you love me.
I love you
all the more
for that.
Why question?
