It’s over now the time has come
Put down your tools and work no more
For there is no point in soldiering on
The world is going to end at four.

Get down to Roses Park right away
The TV programmes are finished now
Put down the remote and don’t delay
Let’s face the final curtain with a bow.

For now until four we’ll have some fun
There is no point in being sad
Let’s dance, sing and reminisce
So it’s all over, can’t be that bad.

You and

I have had more than our share
Of this old world’s hardship and pain
And now we don’t have to give a care
Let’s rejoice… in the rain!

Yes I forgot to say it is raining now
But why should we really mind.
I am going to go down in the nude
And let everyone see my behind.

β€œRude" you say, with much disdain
but why should we care anymore?
For it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks
The world is going to end at four.
