Down from the winter sky
I greet the falling snow,
the air outside is cold
and I feel the wind blow.

I stick out my tongue
and catch the snowflakes,
a chill with every step
that my shoe print makes.

My shape in the snow
also an angel of love,
I dance in the fallen snow
and catch it in my glove.

The beauty of winter
in a cool blowing breeze,
a storm may be coming
that will cover the trees.

Inside my heart is warm
and fear takes a chance,
I brave the outside weather
where snowflakes do a dance.
