Tell me

Tell me,

is it my words?

The dripping poison from my mind.

Enticing lips,

Dripping with hate as my

Demon’s whisper of pain.

Desire,

I am selfish and weak.

Like a lover,

The devil himself caresses,

Singing sweet lullibies until you bleed.

Forsake the light,

And rubies will drip from your

Enemies wrists as well.

Wings of thorns surround you,

Chains shackle your ethereal form.

"Are you God's child?" he taunts.

"Why have you fallen so far?"

If you were his, he would not need to keep you here

Fight past the fear.

Anxiety, depression, and darkness so blinding it hurts.

To breathe is like choking,

Beside the Angel of Death.

He pulls you under,

but I reach for you still.

You have fought for me,

Despite my sins,

And my doubts

I will not let you succumb to

This sadness, and deceit.

My savior.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I run.
Broken.
This is my hymn. Each note is awry,
As I search.
Swimming through a dark sea.
When there is silence,
Breathe and endure.
When surrender calls,
Mute it and fall…
Far into passion,
Into the depths
Of the silence of peace.
In this all consuming
War with reality,
You are my philosophy.
You can see me as I am.
Human, and
Lovely as I am
Fallen,
But I haven’t stopped
Waiting for you to tell me,
Why am I worth it all?
Despite this finite body,
And the infinite existence of
This searching soul.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Carving the world for the blind to see.

 I am a seeker of truth,

And ignorance.

My legs will lift with your spirit,

And fall with your demise.

There can be no dead here.

Only life can continue,

A hand to your face, the silence of love.

There is peace now.

And there is silence,

In this all-consuming

War with reality,

This life is a road, and

Gravel tears at my flesh.

You kiss the pain away.

Falling Together~

The breaking point is drawing nearer.

We are left alone at last,

To pick up the pieces of the broken day.

The only thing that matters tonight is our breathing.

It is proof enough that we are still living.

"Is everything falling around us?

Or are we falling together?"

The answer to that question is simple.

The sky is falling.

The gleaming stars have vanished, one by one.

The glowing moon is silver dust against this blackness.

Nothing is left but shadows now,

And we’re on our way down.

Our grasp is eternal,

And the destruction of this reality,

Is beautiful beside you.

Everything seems lost now,

But we always find our way.

We can pick up the fragments

Of this shattered sky and

Find the moon to make it whole.

After we have fallen together,

Let us stand together too.
