Broken and left like toys,
By others who deceive them,
With lies of love and friendship.
Maybe, once in a lifetime,
Someone comes along who really loves you,
But then they leave you anyway,
Because they know they can never heal,
Your heart.


Down in the deepest depths,
Lies your heart,
Desperately you hid it,
To shield it from this world,
Yet you still feel pain,
You still get sick and die,
And you cannot feel truly happy,
Ever again.
