Looking,
Seeking,
Searching,
But finding nothing,
You reach your hand out,
Into the darkness,
To find something,
Something to grab ahold of,
Something to keep you steady,
You reach and strain,
And nothing is there,
Desperately,
You run into the darkness,
With no path to follow,


And no light to guide you,
You run for what seems to be miles,
And yet you keep going,
You stumble and bleed,
But you persist,
Until finally you see,
A fliting spec of light,
You run faster and faster,
You come near it,
And someone is there to catch and embrace you,
Your search is over.
