Cannot hide the shame
Can't wash away the dirt

What if that's the way it goes
The key to moving on
Maybe this is how one knows
That this battle's almost won

For when it all is past

You have that peace at last
You see now with knowing eyes

You've made it through the worst
You've proved you had the right
Your heart can now be nursed
