Rabbit

By: Shura Random

There the rabbit goes in that grassy meadow

Unknown to it is where I am

There it goes in its rabbit whole where its secrets lay below the ground

I do not know them

Therefore, I wait until the rabbit pops its head out once more from its dark chambers of its home

Where its secrets lay

Where no one can implore

Where I cannot implore

The Sea and the land

By Shura Random

I Sit on a cliff as I look down at the sea

It reaches towards the land as if it was some long lost lover.

But it can only touch never feel

Then pull away

The rain

By Shura Random

The Rain

Oh how it calms me

The Rain

Oh how it washes away my sorrows and pain

I stand in it knowing I’m free to cry with out the world knowing because they would only think of it as the rain

My tears would mix with the sky’s tears that bring life on this earth

My tears would fall down to the ground in the mud puddle I am standing over

Mixing with the tears of the sky never separating mine from hers

But I always know like the rain sadness doesn’t last and that’s what makes the sun so special

Trees in Autom

By Shura Random

The tree strech their blare arms towards the sky

As the gray clouds hides away their beloved sun

Try as the might to reach the sun so they may grow leaves to comfort them on a cold night

They never reach

But they try

The Cat

By Shura Random

That cat it stares at me

Awaiting for me to move as it stands before me in the middle of the path of which I walk

It’s challenging me to try to making past

I smile at the cat for it maybe a unmovable thing

But I can always go around it

Birds

By Shura Random

High up in the sky they flap soaring above me as I remain on the ground

They land on the tree limb before me chirping as if laughing at me

For being on the ground

I smile at the birds and say

No matter who high you go little birds you must always come back down to the eath

The birds stop laughing as it was my turn to laugh

They knew it was true

The Wind

By Shura Random

The wind it whispers

The wind it mocks

I only smile at the wind because it may whisper and mock

But that doesn’t mean I have to listen

Raccoon

B

y

Shura Random

The raccoon

Bandit of the night

Stealing your things

Then disappearing into the night

The raccoon awaits for you to go into slumber

So it can awake you with a jolt

It had gotten into your waste again

But disappeared like a wisp of smoke

Rock

By Shura Random

It’s sits there making no sound

No music

Unmoving

Like most people I know

Too scared to move foreword

And too stubborn to move on

No thoughts

No heart beat

No soul

Just cold

And still

It is a rock and nothing more

But I do not want to be like that rock

Unmoving or living down to it’s core

I want to breathe and live

I so I pick myself up

And move on

The Owl

By Shura Random

The Owl watcher of the night

Watching everything you do

The owl will greet you with a Who

The owl is a witness to all that you do

Weather good

Weather bad

But all it says is

Who
