A Man With Icy Manner
Nothing Worked, With Nothing Of Matter

In The Loud Silence There Was A Quick Tick
A Clock Of Broken Shape
Had Committed An Unforgivable Trick
But Like A Tape
It Continued To Click

This Thing Maddened The Man
At Times It Soothed Him It Otherwise Maddened Him
With Fear Of It Stopping The Faster It Ran
Never Before Had His Luck Been So Prim

The Sound Was Deafening.
Would The Clock Ring?
Or Would Something Stop This Beautiful Thing?
Would The Harp Screech Or Would The Lark Sing?
