So confused 

and feel misunderstood

Always getting hurt feelings

broken-hearted soul.

One moment things are all so happy and new

Then all of a sudden things go askew

broken-hearted soul.

believing that you have found the one

Things go wrong and then their gone

Whether things are right or wrong

broken-hearted soul.

A situation comes about that proves to be

Open your mind and heart to see

The eye of an upcoming storm

Things are out of line and not the norm

broken-hearted soul.

Needing, wanting and searching for love

Only and always love comes first from above

Do not want to be a broken-hearted soul.

Guard your heart with all diligence

Cautiously moving through the situations of life

Then and only then will you not be a broken hearted soul.
