Death by Lies

Lie once, Lie twice,
Lie again and again,
I lost you once, Twice,
Again and again,
Are you my foe?
Are you my friend?
This just started,
But I feel it should end.
Lie once, Lie twice,
Again and again,
Friend or foe?
Foe or friend?
Don't give me that face...
I know you could lend.
Lie once, Twice, Again and again.....
You've sewn a garden,
To which you should tend.
The roses are stained blue with fear,
The daffodils I'm too afraid to go near,
The lilies are the ones that really scare me,
After they've lured me into a false sense of security.
Diluting me and my sensibility,
Judging me not by my real personality.
Giving credit for these incredible feats,
Here lies my heart,
Torn apart.
I try to stand but I can barely breathe,
Taking in not oxygen,
But misery.
Lie once, Lie Twice,
Lie again and again,
Like subtle pain and diseased dread,
It seems your rumors cease to end.
Foe or friend?
Friend or foe?
With every breath you take in,
A lie you tell,
But still lay low.
Hatred you mirror,
And your constant emotions are woe and fear.
Lie once, Twice, Again and again.
Looking to score?
I'd give you a ten.
I walked my way into a brick wall with you,
Just letting you know this is what you choose!

Cheating the Game

Hatred in a Tux:

Always on lookout,
Yet never on the downfall,
Dirty little secrets,
Yet has the nerve to call.
I thought my head was going to explode,
When you were on the phone.
I never saw hatred wearing cologne,
Yet because you look in the mirror every day,
I bet you've always known.

Gambling Man

I bet you ten,
I bet you twenty.
Cheating death is one thing,
But cheating life is a whole other game.
I bet you thirty,
I bet you forty.
Money you earn is money you spend,
Money you loose is money they win.
I bet you fifty,
I bet you sixty.
In the middle of the day it's dark,
Never knowing which time to mark.
I bet you seventy,
I bet you eighty.
Going once?
Going twice?
Not going again,
Sold!
The life of a gambling man.

Conformity

Within the walls,
Of the box,
Never knowing what is not,
Lies your mind for what it's worth,
Retrieve it soon or it gets worse.
Within the walls,
Of that box,
Lies conformity,
Never knowing what is not.
Outside those walls good things are,
So gather the strength to break the bars.

Glass Heart

I gave you my heart,
A fragile thing.
And on our wedding day,
You gave me a diamond ring.
On our honeymoon we never got bored,
But lately I have been feeling a bit ignored.
You made me feel confident,
Happy,
And you would never cease to be amazed.
Once our lives were passionate,
Fiery and ablaze.
But now I feel sad,
I must admit I've had better days.
To tell you the truth,
I love you anyways.

Butterflies

I love the way you float upon the ground,
Giving careless little strides without sound.
I love the way you pass every test with flying colors,
Nothing about you ever gets duller!
When you look at me I can't believe you care,
What with all your awesome looks and hair.
Do you just look right through me like I'm not even there?
No, you know better not to look at me like air.
You keep me fascinated with the mystery that is you,
Even though I know it couldn't be new.
This was my bittersweet lullaby,
Know that I would never lie.

Underground

6 Under

Sometimes,
In the night,
I see you standing there.
Still in my heart,
But not in reality,
Like you would bother to care.
I wonder why you would do this to me,
You, who we would all love to see.
I wonder how you could've been so mean.
But now you're 6 feet under buried deep,
Within the ground under my feet.
The modern world can be so cruel,
My own friends used me as a tool.
But who was there to help me?
I can say for certain it wasn't you.
Don't feel sorry for me world.
Come at me with all you've got.
You can be mute with silence,
But I can still hear your words.
The place where my heart used to be,
Cannot be filled by anybody,
But at least I still have memories.
