You Can Have My Serenity

A piercing sound mixed with anger and doubt you keep prying I am just looking for a way out but arenโ€™t we all, we keep looking for some one to catch us not realizing that first we have to fall. Instead we cling to the past and stay bound to abuse. Seeing as how it seems you have ran out of tears there is no hope especially since you have been stuck on hopeless for years.

And there is nothing there. But the question to ask is who the hell cares. Take a second to ask your self, and when you realize itโ€™s only you and nobody else. You will join me and all the others who want to face reality.

Because deep down they know whatโ€™s true the birds donโ€™t sing and the sky isnโ€™t blue. They know the rules are meant to defy and you can only ascend when you arenโ€™t afraid to ask why. And the only way you can live life is when you arenโ€™t afraid to die.

I saw my way but I chose another door because if Iโ€™m going to fight I better know what for. That is why something can be so wrong and feel so right but hey itโ€™s whatever helps you sleep at night. When you realize that it is true you can let go of that inner conflict and really see you. You can look someone in the face and let them hear your lies. How can you not no your that person how can you be surprised!

Someone you stare in the face every single day how can you not no your there in every single way. You know you can never see when youโ€™re slowly falling apart. But the truth is you should have been there from the start. You know itโ€™s not true what they say, about you can always go home, they are just trying to make you think youโ€™re not in this all alone. But when you finally realize your past the point where all hope is gone. You can steer clear of emotions and move on.
Now it seems to me and I am just guessing but that is were you will always be. That is why I hope no one expects anything from you, not caring thatโ€™s the key. And I am just trying to get you to see that this is true and that you should expect nothing too.

When youโ€™re too tired to just take it I hope you will see that confessing your sins doesnโ€™t set your soul free. And when you get so tired of trying so hard and waiting for things that wonโ€™t come realizing that you misery isnโ€™t in good company you will see, yesterday is over and youโ€™ll find faith in me.

these days are creeping by slower every minuet when are you going to ask yourself โ€œhow am I living my life with out me in it.โ€ sometimes you can be your own worst enemy I cant fall apart if thereโ€™s nothing left inside of me. Think about it youโ€™re strong enough to be a hypocrite, so cry. Donโ€™t worry ignorance is blessed so it doesnโ€™t matter if you want to die.

So when you can no longer tell the difference between you and I. Youโ€™ll be better I suppose no promises because who knows. so while you sit hear trying to hide your pathetic fears imagine how it would fill if you didnโ€™t have any tears and it is still amazing to me, how ignorant humanity can be, and I say to you no one is free. So I will wait until you confess to me. Just say the magic words โ€œyou can have my serenityโ€

Dedication:
This is a poem I wrote about the bad out weighing the good and the inner conflict we all face. But this symbolizes the two sides to every body good and bad the devil and the angel sitting on your shoulder and the devils wining.
