Writer's Creed

I'll write the words I want to say
And those I'd never dream about.
I'll write my wish, my hope, my prayer;
I'll write my love, and then my doubt.

I'll never fear to sing my words
To whisper or to scream them loud,
To let them fly like a thousand birds,
Daring and free above the clouds.

I'll write of years and days and nights
With their cortege of broken dreams,
I'll freeze the time in words of light,
Scribing my name across the sky.

I'll write the words I hide inside,
I'll strip my self deep to the core.
And when there will be no words left
I'll melt my soul and write some more.
