Always facing fate
standing up too the very next
hits in the face
scared to tell someone
terrified that every breath you inhale
will be your last
the pain always last
and will always be in the past

most lose faith
as they take another hit
abuse is out of control
kids Lifes shouldn't end
most don't fight back
and end up in fates hands

in a blink of an eye
a child can die
the neighbors ignore it
and turn out the lights
they don't have faith
too step up to the fight
even though they could save a life


her mother screams all day
and waits to strangle her
shes been put through the roof
and shes waited too long
she doesn't care
and is never their
bruises and scars cover her

she packs her lunch
and nobody realizes
all that she hides
shes one that's strong
through it all
she waits days and nights
for her fate to take over
she will rise above
she will be safe one day

she goes into her room
thinking shes safe
but in a blink of an eye
he mother beats her to death
she cries and cries
but shes too weak to fight back
fate grabs another beaten soul
never to be seen again
