Memories

A refreshing cup of memories

You are mine to keep

Staring down

Memories gazing back me

Tasting bitter sweet

Slip my hands around the cup

Warm my heart and don’t give up

Share them with a friend of mine?

No I will keep them to myself this time

Night’s frost
Lovers wait
Words unspoken
You me
No longer us
Together tonight
Love’s broken
Searching eyes
Left to right
No Answers
Blank Face
Turn away
Deep breath
Tuck in emotion
Hold out
Lock the door
Give in
A heavy Release
Shove aside
Start the engine
Block Tears
Cold outside
Cold inside
Driving home
Hearts lost
Night’s frost
Last words unspoken


Time Wish

I wish that you would find me where I sit

Come tell me hello and talk a bit

I don't want to walk out of your world as if I played no roll

I don't want to be memory where time is all I stole


Undecided

I am raw. I am vulnerable. I am moved.
I am wanting to know, I am wishing I didn’t.
Many things coming to pass.
How long will the next moment feel like? Will it go by slow or fast?
My pen writes the words my brain is thinking, that my heart is feeling.
Staring at the words, lost in thought, I sit here.
My journal in my lap, my toes in my socks, my fingers on the cold keyboard.
I smell yesterday. Tomorrow is unknown.
I’m not looking back, I’m not looking forward. I’m not even looking.
