It was a cold night!
Not cold as the winter,
Just cold on me.
What was I thinking,
went out with my soul leaking.
Not a tear sheds,
yet I can’t say a word.
Was it necessary to find out twice,
just how much it hurts?
You stood there,
a beautiful dream,
embodied in perfection.
Or is was it just me?
Guess I just got caught up in your charm,
another victim of deception,
Another hole in my soul,
Did it move you at all?
And I will be waiting on my dream,
It’s now to late to fix it or to cover my scars,
Unfair would not fit this scheme,
In your eyes I saw stars.
I won’t see them anymore.
Never knew a broken hearth,
Could break once more.
Another chapter closed,
But with the wrong epilogue.
My heart still burns as this twisted world turns!
