She is my one of two precious miracles.
I will keep her safe and treasure her,
For always.
At times when I am lonely,
She comes to play with me.
She is company
I donβt always get along with
Impatient as a puppy,
She is eager and willing to help -
As active as a spring chicken.
The only one who cares about me.
She helps when I need it most.
The one I can rely on,
When no one else is around to care.
A star so out of reach;
She fell into my life.
Wild, fun and explosive!
I would spend every moment of my life
With her alone.
Knowledgable, helpful and kind,
What advantages are to be gained from helping us?
Time races by, like thoroughbreds at the races -
We glimpse her, but for only a few moments.
Too many questions are swirling about her;
A hypnotizing mess of colours.
Why must I repeat? repeat? repeat?
Quiet and self opinionated,
But always willing to to assist.
Well rounded like an eroded stone,
Bent at work from dawn till dusk,
So much potential in one young soul,
Her only Achilles heel - to correct her words,
walls her in.
She feeds me
Purr
She cuddles me
Purr
She cleans me
Purr
She lets me sleep with her
Purr Purrr
I travel the world;
Absorbing interest after interest,
Seeking to improve - always,
All that is and surrounds me.
Hoping for the best
In life,
Searching for Love My Love Is Gone Like Shadows In the Night
My love is gone like shadows in the night.
My heart now cries in pain with raw despair;
Without her near the musicβs not as bright.
I tried to make her stay with all my might;
I sang to her of how I longed and cared.
But love is gone like shadows in the night.
She told me once my conduct was contrite,
as she explained the ways of our affair.
Without her near the musicβs not as bright.
The song I sang at court was true and right,
for Iβve not laid thine eyes on one more fair.
Now love is gone like shadows in the night.
She smiled and laughed, while dubbing me her knight,
then spoke at last of her betrothed Courtier;
Without her near the musicβs not as bright.
My heart now cries in pain with raw despair,
as she now lays beside him in his lair.
My love is gone like shadows in the night,
Without her near the musicβs not as bright.
Birth of Life
First with fierce friction and passion begins,
Among the dry tinder, a spark ignites,
Embers then glow with breath boiling within
Bringing a precious bright flame into life.
Gentle roots branch out and start to disperse,
The small delicate sprout begins to feed,
Entangling through dense, nutrient rich earth,
Its limbs spreading forth from a single seed.
Initial drop; an expansive ripple,
A wave of longing starts to swell and grow.
A breach in the dam starts with a trickle,
Until the waters edges over flow.
The first breath of life is moving and bright;
A young tender soul smiling at the light.
Be GoneThe mist of uncertainty enshrouds me once again.
... a deep well unseen in the night, a creeping mood
His sword pierced my gut long days before;
I utter a sigh, the fall of Rome.
As I lay there dying from the inside out,
Iβm haunted by a shadow of doubt and fear
Of a future that could be lost, a time unknown to be.
Iβm imagining this pain; itβs not really real.
Donβt take my words for divine truth.
Why? Why? What? Why?
Leave me alone!
Leave my mind at rest...
Stop badgering me, hassling me...
I want quiet, stillness, flat line peace.
I want to hold your hand, and not ramble on,
On about mistakes, misuse, and my own misperception,
But to be consumed by your strength and pure heart,
And eradicate these ghostly thoughts of ghouls in our skin
I want to just be us, without this misconception.
