prologue

"It seems as though you have bestowed your eyes on a mortal, Apollo."

Keeping his eyes forward he need not turn around, for her knew who spoke.

"And what of it, is your concern?"

Internally holding back a laugh so as to not offend, she answered.

"Do remember what the fates have prophecied. For you to love a mortal is forbidden and would bring about the fall of olmpus, not to mention the death of a loved one. The price to be paid is far much too great. surely your knowlegde has not failed you in such a young age?" Internally fighting the urge to roll his eyes, he responded.

"Surely, your not as ignorant as to think that those things that have been prophecied can always change. Have you never heard of history?"

"You mean, you would kill one of your own, for a simple mortal girl? Not even a goddess?" Turning around with dark eyes he spoke.

"I will kill anyone who stands in my way, even if it kills me. She will be mine or no ones at all."

~

Questioning eyes looked towards the moon in the dark night. Searching for answers to unanswered questoins; things and situations no longer made sense, and the only ones who she could trust have turned their backs on her. How could it be that all she knew growing up, all that she was taught, was a lie?

The world that she once know was becoming and unknown black forest.

Only it was a forest, with no way out.
