I just walked into the contest place. Hard to believe I'm finally in California. My parents always told me I would never make it. HUH! In their faces! "Sup! Ready to go man?" a random guy asked me. "Uh, yeah sure."I told him, studdering. I signed in as NJ, my street name. Comin' from New York, you gotta have street cred. "And next up is a street kid, NJ. First time here. Let's give a shout out!" As I heard the crowd chanting, "NJ, NJ, NJ." I took the plunge. I could hear them stop, and just breath. I've always been told I'm good at skateboarding, but this is insanity. When I kicked my famous move, "The No Joke", they were all screaming, "GO KID!" I love that thrill. I won. Like the whole thing, too bad girls can't openly skateboard. I met this really cool guy. His name was Zander. But I'll probably never see him again. So, I just flew back home with his face in my head, him saying, "Way ta go kid!" Sigh.

Now

I had just put Sarah down for a nap in the "servents quarters" of mine and my brother's house. I love playing video games, so I went down to the den to play. I was in the middle of my game when Bryce walked in, my best friend, "Sup girl! Whatcha playin?" he asked. "Oh, just a little Black Ops. What's sup?" "Nothin' much, just school" I groaned. "Yeah, my thoughts exactly!" I laughed and handed him a contoller. He sat down and started playing, but quit eventually, cuz he sucks. "Got any." "No!" "What, you don't know what I'm gonna say." "Yes I do Bryce, you're my best friend." "Oh yeah, what was I gonna say? Huh?" "Root beer" "Oh yeah, you are my best friend." Then he laughed. I went in the kitchen and pulled out my phone. I had a text from EJ, 'Heya, can I bring a friend??' 'Sure, IDC!' 'Cool =P' I grabbed a root beer out of the fridge and went in the den to give it to Bryce. "I knew you had some RB!" I laughed at him. I heard SJ, so I went to get her. She had a good nap, an hour. "Hey." "Mama!" "Hey baby." "Play?" "Yeah, come on." She took my hand, pulled me to the house. When she saw Bryce, she let go of my hand and ran to him. He wasn't paying attention, so he spilled his RB. He laughed and ran to get some papertowels, with SJ following him. She loves him, she asked him to marry her for her birthday, it was so cute.
She's always around him. he was my first love, too. A car horn blared me out of my skin. I looked out the window and saw EJ. I laughed, and opened the door for him. "Hey, so yeah, I gotta tell you something." "Okay, shoot." "Well, you remember when you went to California?" "Yeah." "Well, you remember that guy you told me about?" "Yeah." "Well, I found him, well, he actually found me." "What?" I asked seriously. "Yeah, he's right outside." "Really?" "Yeah, come on!" I literally ran out before he could move. He was laughing. "What!? I'm excited." "Sure, sure." When I got out to the car, I threw the door open, and grabbed his hand. He screamed. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." I yelled. He started laughing, and I blushed. "Your brother told me that you were pretty." he said, grabbing my hand. I blushed even harder. He chuckled and started pulling me to the house. When we got inside, Zander tripped on my skateboard. "I thought I picked that up." I said under my breath. "You skateboard?" "Yeah. A little." "That's so cool!" "Sure, I haven't dont it in a while though." "Why?" "Hey!" Bryce yelled. "What?!" "Can you bring me a RB real fast, and a Band-Aid." "Why, what happened?" "Umm... SJ just fell." "What?!" I grabbed a Band-Aid, forget about the RB, my child needs me. I ran outside, with Zander behind me. "Here ya go baby." I said picking her up, to fix her up.
