Dorm

I was aggravated. I have been on the phone for hours, the reason if you ask me is pretty stupid. School was still out and I needed a place to stay. Collage that is, but no matter how many times I called someone, they had no dorms available, no apartments and no condos. I was aggravated. Very aggravated. I called the last number on my list for a dorm. “Hello, um I was wondering if you had any rooms available, I’m really desperate.” There was a moment’s pause as I heard the person on the other end type some things on the computer. “Yes we do have a room for you, you would be sharing it with another person. It will cost you less and it’s only a mile away from Harvard, in a pretty good neighborhood. Would you like to check it out?” MY reply came out fast “Yes I would.” We made arrangements to meet the next day at 12:00 pm and if I liked the place I could move in right away.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I woke up late. I had to take the train to get there, which usually takes about half an hour. So I skipped breakfast and got dressed and ready in a fraction of the time it usually takes. I slid in just in time. “Hello, Miss. Seymore, how are you today?” I looked up to see a man in his 40s, dried out from appearance, but his voice told me otherwise. He loved his job, but hated his wife. I laughed out loud at that, I mean, it’s kind of funny. He gave me an odd look, “I’m doing fine, thank you.”

“Shall we go look inside?” I nodded in response “yes sir” I took the short walk we had till we entered to look at the outside. It looked pretty decent. The walk upp the stairs were short, and then down the hall to room 221. He unlocked the door and that’s when I almost passed out, the place was huge. It had a Living room the size of a bus, and the kitchen, the kitchen was beautiful. I can’t help but run my hand over the counter and dream about cooking in this kitchen. I knew I was gonna live her until I finished collage. That’s when I thought where is my roommate? I didn’t want to ask to seem rude. Instead I said “I’ll take it, how much?” my mom said I can live anywhere since I have a full scholarship and my mom had been saving up for me to go to college since I was conceived. She’s a single mom, and has been a successful retail agent, she took care of me and my brother for the past 18 years.

I had lunch and called the movers. Collage Here I Come!

We meet

I woke up early, eager to get the day started. I am supposed to meet the movers at 8 this morning for them to drop off my stuff. It was Saturday, so my family was home. “Hey mom” I said as she entered the kitchen. “How was your night?”

“Good, honey, I can tell you’re excited to meet your roommate” she started “after you get settled and things going I want to meet her.” I knew she wouldn’t leave this alone so I agreed gave her a kiss and went to meet the movers.

                                                                ----------------------------------------------

After I had the movers put my stuff in my new room, I sat on the couch, watching jeopardy, when I heard the front door of the apartment open. I look up to see a very attractive guy, and before I think I reach for my hello kitty umbrella and start to go after him. I only had one successful hit and was about to swing again when I fell to the ground out of my own fault. I looked up to see a sweaty muscular guy, who looks from appearance that he came from the gym staring at me with an angry face. Did I mention he was attractive?

“What are you doing in my apartment?” he voice was even sexy despite the fact that he was now yelling.

“Your apartment?” I said as I was standing, “I live here. I just paid the rental agent. Are you like my roommates boyfriend?”

His answer was a little rude, he pushed pass me into the other room and slammed his door. I took that time to make lunch, I was hungry.

Bed

My diet it almost strictly organic. I eat some processed food like chips, but my vegetables and fruits have to be fresh. The kitchen was still great. For lunch I had a fresh strawberry basil salad, and not to intrude too much I went grocery shopping after the movers came. When I was eating, Mr. Meanie pants came out with his shorts hanging low on his hips and his bare chest was well built, “excuse me” he interrupted my thoughts, I shrugged my shoulders, I don’t really get embarrassed much. “Yes?”

“We have to have some simple ground rules.” I knew this would take long so I got a little more comfortable than I actually was. “no “girlfriends” of yours over, no hanging around any of my friends when I wasn’t around, no long showers, don’t bother me with any of your problems, this last one is really important do not bother me when I’m watching a game.” I wasn’t shocked about the last one, I have a brother remember. “Fair enough” I said and then continued to eat my salad. It was a good salad.

He walked away to the fridge and got out a water. By then I was full and still had a half of plate of food when turd scooper took it and ate it in three bites. I walked to my room to take a nap on the air matrass because I still didn’t have my bed yet it was going to be delivered later today. His name was Maxx. His name on a bill on breakfast bar.

                                ----------------------------------------------------------

I woke up 10 minutes before my bed was going to be delivered. I threw some sweats on because I took my pants off to sleep a little more comfy. I walked out of the room and into the kitchen. Not looking in the living room. I opened the fridge and got out a protein shake, when I turned I realize that there were 6 guys all sitting there staring at me. I looked at them all, and all of them were pretty good looking.

The door bell rung and I knew it was for me and went to answer it. “Hello mattress and bed for Kat Seymore?”

I nodded and answered “that would be me”. The guy smiled and asked me to sign the device thing and then he slid the mattress and my bed that I would have to build into the door where I thanked him and said goodbye. Now how am I going to get this in my room?

The Bed Struggle

I put all my weight against the bed, using my legs to push the damn thing. I still couldnt get it to budge after 10 minutes of struggle. The guys watched me with very amused looks on there face. Then one of the guys stood up, he was tall, with short blonde hair, and like the rest of them
