"Do you Jonathan Salvatore take Elissa McCortney to be your wife?" the priest asked once again looking worryingly at the groom

"I don't" the groom said and Elissa stared at him stunned, unable to take a breath, the people around them gasped and a murmur bursted into the room.

"You are free" he hissed in her ear, his voice full of anger "Don't be fooled though, angel, if I ever find you, I will make you mine once and for all"

She couldn't utter a word so she just stared at him with her huge eyes full of disbelief.

"Run!" he barked at her and she jumped on her feet shocked

She clutched her white beautiful dress in her hands and run down the aisle, with no second warning, leaving behind her the man.

A smile was formed in her beautiful face and tears of joy were streaming down her cheek.

She didn't bother wiping them away, she kept running away, finally having her chance to live her life.
