Hello. Goodbye
Kyle was always one of the shy kids in his class, he'd sit alone and talk to himself or get this at lunch he'd sit cross-legged on a bench drawing. Kyle was a loser. With every breathes Lily took she couldn't see past his loser aspects. That was until their school put on a games night. Some kids Priya and Steven, whoever they were, decided their game was spin the bottle, yeah it was lame and weird but it was really quite funny. At least 10 people were playing maybe more and well it happened. Lily may have seemed like an experienced young adult but it wasn't like that. She had only had one kiss in her life with her ex Tom (we will come back to him later.) So when Lily was chosen in the game by none other than William Hogge. William played rugby and he was tall, kind of pale but very chilled and handsome. Lily was happy he was the first to choose her but as soon as she got up William looked at her. "Hello and goodbye" he started laughing but Lily went bright red she started to cry and ran away to behind some trees. Her friend Allie followed her and calmed her down. "What did I do? Is it my face?" she cried into Allie's shoulder.
"No no no your face is stunning he's just one of those boys," Allie said desperately.
"SO! Why did he play if he wasn't going to kiss anyone?" Lily was confused
"I don't know but let's head back" Allie helped her friend up and they headed back to the game.
Chapter 2
Oh hi, kyle!
A few minutes after the game ended Allie and Lily head off. They were trying but Kyle stopped them.
"Can i- I talk to Lily, please. Alone!" He started to shake.
Allie walked off and left them alone.
"I- Hi Lily" He was so nervous
"Why'd you wanna speak ky-" before she could finish speaking kyle grabbed her waist and kissed her they kissed for a few minutes then she pulled away.
"... I don't know wh. What just happened!" she said in a startled voice
"I felt bad you didn't get a kiss so there you go" he let out a cute little smile which Lily couldn't help but love.
"Oh thank you kyle" she was blushing like crazy
"I'll let you get back to your friend" and kyle left her standing confused.
Lily ran up to her friend and told her everything. The kiss. What he said. His cute smile. Her blushing. After she had finished Allie just paused.
"Dude. You like a loser" Allie said trying not to laugh.
"No, it was just heat of the moment I can't like him... Can I?" she said even more confused than before. For a few minutes, Allie stayed quiet but then
"Dude you like him ha," she said laughing. Lily hit her lightly and they carried on walking home. Lilly and Allie live right next to each other so they often sleepover at each other's houses. Tonight Allie was at Lily's and they did what they did most nights together. Sit talk and laugh. Tonight had a new conversation. Lily's feelings for kyle. Although she's denying any feelings for him and saying it was a one-time thing something she's saying is making Allie curious.
"So you're saying if you saw Kyle again you'd feel nothing?" she said in disbelief
"Yeah, exactly that" Lily was chuffed her friend understood.
Chapter 3Confused heads
"What's wrong with romance" Lily was reading when her father Mr Greg Kaser walked in.
"Hi sweetheart, Wow big book day huh?" He said trying to understand the teenage mind.
"Yes, dad." Lily and her dad didn't have such a bond as she and her mum. He's always wanted too he was too afraid to mess up and send his only daughter into drugs, alcohol etc. You can't blame a man for being worried about his daughter nowadays it is just. Turn 13 do drugs go out till 11 and come home stinking of smoke and other stuff. What happened to kids who wouldn't touch that at all or at least till they'd turned 20 odd. What's wrong with some parents ay.
"Hey pet how would you like do go out with me?" he said softly.
"No thanks dad I have plans with Allie." She said without thinking about his feelings.
"Anyone else gonna is there?" he said wondering.
"I don't know. Maybe," she said not looking at him
Her dad left the room and she let out a big sigh.
"Hey, dad!" She said just after he closed the door.
"Yes sweetie" His face lit up.
"Let's watch Netflix tonight. You can pick" She smiled slightly.
"Okay I get off work at 10:00 pm" He was so happy in that moment.
Lily and her mum were so close. Lily told her about her first period which is always embarrassing. Her mum helped her through her breakup with Tom ( i told you we'd come back to him.)
Tom was plain awful he treated Lily with zero respect and you know what he said after their first kiss.
"Lily your friends a way better kisser."
LIKE OMG. So from that day Lily respected herself more and ended things with terrible Tom. Girls need to learn to respect themselves more and be free to do what they want and they shouldn't feel owned or controlled.
Chapter 4
Guess who?
As young girls, Allie and Lilly always giggled about boys. Their hair and how some of them had deeper voices than others. Now at the age of sixteen, she is into the deep-voiced, greasy-haired bigger boys someone like her new so-called crush Danny he was sweet but he was friends with William Hogge, the boy who laughed when he had to kiss her. The reason her and kyle kissed.
As Allie and Lily were walking down to their local shop MidgetoCo they saw Danny, William and a few of their mates kicking a ball down the road. They try not to make eye contact but William spots them.
"Hey geeks, selling cookies?" William was such a douchebag.
Lily simply laughed and went "Well at least you can talk with that mouth." It wasn't clear to William but she was talking about how he wouldn't kiss her with his mouth or kiss her in any way.
"God you're a dork" William laughed and they walked off. He was always bullying girls. Two sisters moved schools because of him. One got diagnosed with depression because William made her feel alone. He would never get punished because his dad was the headteacher and wouldn't ruin his son's perfect records.
"Can you believe that. AND can you believe I stood up for myself." Lily was proud because it was hard for her to do that
Allie hugged her best friend but this hug was different it was a special kind of hug. Allie wasn't sure what she was feeling at that moment but it was really good she felt safe in her friends' arms and she didn't want it to end but it did.
Chapter 5
Unexpected feelings.
In their friendship, Lily's feelings were always Allie's number one priority. Everything Lily was feeling mattered to Allie. She was her best friend after all but when different kind of feelings came about she's confused. Allie wanted the best for her friend but the feeling's she had right now was more than she could cope with.
Allie was power walking around her bedroom, Googling the definition of bisexual and overthinking her newly found feelings when.
"Hey, Al comes round today xx" Lily sent in an unfortunately timed text.
"I can't I am doing stuff." She sent back knowing Lily would suspect something.
"Hey everything okay you've never said no and you never use." Allie could sense Lily was suspicious.
Allie shuts off her phone leaving Lily on reading. Allie was screaming inside her head she smacked pillows, ripped paper and screamed out loud. She wasn't doing well. So she decided to go for a walk. On her walk, she bumped into non-other than Kyle. All. By. Himself. Like he was such a loser honestly. Allie braved it and walked up to him.
"Hey, kyle. What's that?" He was holding something shiny. He hides it quickly
"Oh, something for my dad..." He was suspicious.
"Anyway, how have you been since you kissed Lily?" She didn't look pleased with him at all.
"I was wondering about that can I hang around with you two for a bit?" He expected a no but for some odd reason, Allie said yes. Clearly she wasn't thinking properly about it since well her feelings for Lily were still there. She didn't know whether to tell Lily or to try to get over it. When she got home she had four missed texts from Lily.
"Hey what happened?"
"Did I do something wrong?"
"Allie answer me!"
"I'm coming over"
Then before Allie could start typing back there was a knock at her front door. Allie's Mum opened it to a very upset Lily.
"What's wrong dear?"
