This book is a work of fiction. Though if vampire truly exist it won't be much of a fiction.
Until their existence comes to everyone's attention, it is.
sorry for boring anyone who's reading. I will cut my crap short.
Thanks for reading. Any feedback positive or negative would be gladly appriciated.
CHAPTER 1
Itโs well passed eleven when I made my way down the bus. There were only two persons getting out at this shady county. I gripped my bag tightly as I looked both sides of the dirt path. I cursed as I started walking when I donโt see any transportation around. Canโt go to the mansion walking right? I donโt see any options though.
There were several holes in the ground on this side of the path. Without a doubt itโs the opposite path for the mansion. I turn on my heel and came face to face with the man who got out of the bus with me.
โYou look lost?โ
His hat was pulled low on his forhead. Though there was no mistaking of the eye that he lost. The skin bunched there giving him a dangerous appearance for an old man that he was. The other eye glinted in the low light of the moon. Nevertheless, his smile was genuine.
โA little.โ Giving my size, he didnโt look a bit of intimidated by me. I towered well above a foot than him.
โDonโt you worry, young man. I have lived here all my life. Iโll come with a transportation right back.โ He started walking swiftly for his age. Not that I worry. How I like good olโ men.
A taxi pulled up at the bus stop after few minutes. I rushed to it, a sigh passing my lips.
I lifted my hand to knock on the tinted window at the driver side. But before my hand could possibly touch it, The back window started to roll down and I see the old man from before.
โOh, itโs you. I never thought you would be this speedy.โ We laughed as I enter beside him. I donโt have much luggage with me so I put what I had at my foot.
โWhere to?โ The driver who looked to be in his early thirties as me fixed his mirror giving a crooked smile.
โThe Richmond Mansion.โ
โOh, hasnโt it been a decade since anyone has been there, Reggie?โ The old man refereed to the driver.
โYeah. Are you his son or what? Not that we heard any tales about that rich bastard have anyone but himself.โ
โNo. Iโm buying the house and the surrounding property.โ
โThatโs news.โ The driver whistled.
The path was bumpy as we made our way through the lining of trees.
โSo old man, I own you one though you didnโt have to come all this way with us.โ
โNo, You donโt.โ He gave me a toothy grin which shows he has some tooth missing.
I raised my eyebrow as they both started to laugh hysterically which made the car sway from itโs path.
โWhats so funny?โ
โYou.โ The driver said as he came to a stop. โHavent you heard about this little town being shady? The main rule is , Never to trust strangers. We have our business because of fools like you.โ He turned on his seat as the old man next to me revealed a hidden blade from his trashy clothes.
โNow be a good boy and gives us your bag. I bet you have packed with money if you came down here for purchasing that bastards house. It must cost great ton of money.โ There greedy hands approached my bag as I laughed which halted their progress as they gave me questioning looks of whether Iโm sane or not?
Didnโt guess on the first day of excitement, Did I? Not that Iโm one to complain when food walks at my way all by itself.
I let him stab me in the side rib without so much as a flinch. His blade ripped through my custom shirt and came out crooked. I smirked as they looked like they have seen a ghost. Not that Iโm far from their imagination. I widen my smile showing them my long incisor as I whisked the blade from his hand in less than a microsecond. Before they can realise what hit them I snapped the neck of the old man and crushed Reggieโs palm when he tries to stumble out of the car slamming on the brake.
โNot so fast.โ I said as he starts to scream. I hold onto his crushed hand as the car started to fill with blood's sweet scent and I put my mouth on the old manโs neck, starting to have my feast. It was a pleasant surprise though his blood was tinted with traces of drugs. I drank as fast as I can and pulled the other man from his front seat. He put a weak fight which was no match for a vampire. Vampire surpasses the strength of human by a huge milestone. Itโs laughable to even compare. I wiped my mouth from the back of my hand. Good thing I twist his neck. The less mess the better. There was no spec of blood on my clothes just how i like it.
He should be grateful I let him easy, he just grates on my nerve when he ripped my shirt. I disposed them off on the nearest ground several feet deep the ground level.
I gave a satisfied grunt as I think about the people I saved from their terror. Thatโs my job. Though I donโt do living breathing humans. I kill others like me. The deal walkers. All sorts of them who had done some crime. Though, good deeds does pay off. I didn't feel a speck of regret as I got in the car and drove off.
