Twilight Eyes

When I hold you close
My arms surrounding you
Protecting you from your fears

Believe in me
As I believe in you

Nose to Nose
Gently touching
Your trembling lips

Gazing into your eyes
Kissing away those beautiful tears

Lay your head on my shoulder
As I hold you close
Rest your twlight eyes

While I gently whisper
Sweet assurance into your ear

A Little Thing Called "Life"

The beauty of life's sweetness
from the time in which we were born
The happiness we gave
those that gave us life

And the happiness we gave
when we gave life in return

Lying there in innocent sleep
without a care in the world

The tenderness of love we received
the same tenderness and love
We gave when we gave life

At times things seemed unbearable
as you did your best for us
Installing a thing called survival

Go have a happy life
and say to Death

I gave my offspring sufficient
joy, love, and knowledge
to last them a thousand years

So when Death comes knocking
at my door and calls my name

And asks are you ready to Live again?
As it takes my hand
and says

Do Not Fear Me
as I will ease your pain and suffering

Know me not as
"The Angel of Death"

But as
"The Angel of Mercy"

Capture My Heart

I used to think of you as a dream
only touchable when I closed my eyes

I can see your angelic face
when my thoughts turn to you
every day and every night

Upon taking a hot shower
I can see your outline there with me

The water caresses my face
the way your tenderly soft lips do

When I sip my morning coffee
I see your reflection in my hands

Our lips meeting once again
In a soft embrace

Sending chills of pleasure
Down my back

When looking into a mirror
I see you there behind me

Arms around my waist
Your head resting upon my shoulder

Whispering into my ear
But its not my ear
that your whispering into

But my heart

My Letter to You

The strength of a man isn't seen
in the width of his shoulders.

It's seen in the width
of his arms that circle you.

The strength of a man isn't
in the deep tone of his voice.

It is in the gentle words he whispers.

Tonight sitting here
Looking at the stars
Talking to them

How I wished
that you were here by my side

So many thoughts
running through my head

Every Love song...

Every Love movie...

I sit here
seeing only a blank screen

All of my thoughts
thinking of only you

I think about you being here with me
With my arms around you
Comforting, Protecting

Look up at the stars
and the moon

You’ll see the magnificence
of God’s creation

But look into my heart
and you will see yourself

I’m going to write my thoughts down
and place them in a letter to you

But before I seal the envelope

I will blow in a kiss

Sealing it with my lips

Universal Delight

When I look into your eyes...

I see the stars from heaven above
Beauty of the universe
Strokes of vivid colors

Happiness
Painted with tenacious tenderness
Like diamonds in a pool of gems

Never before
Had I seen the stars shine
Like they do
When gazing into your eyes

One constellation catches my eye
You're the center of it

I want my world to revolve around

You !

Thoughts of You

The minute I saw your face
my heart beat madly
I became lost
in the most splendid dreams
of stunning beauty and grace
~
You have touched me
with an exquisite softness
that I have never known
~
On this warm starlit night
your personality is as bright
as the brightest star
on a midsummer night
~

You're as elegant
and stunningly beautiful
as a blossoming Rose in July
~
A romantic dream
spun of passion and fire
