chapter one

One day we were walking down the highway when you lifted your leg up to pee. unfortunately we were walking across a rigid wooden bridge and the pee dripped down onto the passer byers underneath us. they looked up quite curiously to see what was dripping on them(as they had no idea it was urine) and was quite shocked to see your leg lifted up peeing on them. in all their dismay we looked at each other and chuckled, their faces were quite funny to look at. shocked and hurt the passer byers pulled together their pride and continued onward to their destinations.

This happened quite early this morning as a matter-of-fact and as i sit here beside my friend watching the fairly odd parents movie i cannot bare to wonder quite curiously if you had purpously peed on those people. was it their clothing choices? their aura? alas i cannot come in contact with your mind. oh what you must be thinking as you gaze into the television...are you really color blind? what can you really see is beside me. with your deep green emerald eyes you look around whenever the slightest movement is made...

Today has been a long day, for both you and me. waking me up at 5 surely wasn't my idea of a perfect Saturday morning but we did have fun on our morning walk. After you decided to pee in a rather (oh whats the word..) inappropriate place we walked past the pastry shop. oh the sweet aroma of smells! doughnuts, sweetbread, pound-cake, all the very comforting smells of the beginning of the day for their work. oh you looked at me with those eyes and i couldn't resist taking you in for a treat. a whip cream covered cookie with little bits of oat sprinkled on it was your choice for today and might i add, you ate all three in quite a hurry!

we continued our walk down to the lake where we both ran into some old friends. we decided to chat a while and you and your new companion decided to try your hand at keep away with the rope you found on the floor. a little while past and you and your friend came running back to us, completely exhausted group of us made our way to the lake and you took a swim to cool off on this summer day. it was pretty hot today...almost 100 degrese! how you could stand it with your hair i cannot imagine. (maybe its time to take you to get a hair cut?)

Lunch time came and went and still you were in the lake. our friends have long since left and you didnt even notice! it took hours to coax you out of that lake! you had so much fun and i kinda felt bad that your fun had to end. we walked around a bit more and i decided to take you to your favorite place, the hotdog stand at the corner of 34th street. i ordered a plain hotdog for you and a hotdog with the works for me. we sat there and enjoyed our dogs while people passed us, each giving us their own little glance. fianlly it was time to head home, as i was quite tired. you decided to keep the fun going by chasing every squirl we passed! our little walk home turned into a marathon... and we made it home quicker then i thought.

Here we are! sitting on my couch watching tv... the movies pretty much over so im trying to figure out what to do... the doorbell just rang! it looks like i have to house sit your friend... coaral. some days i feel like you run the house- literally! you and coaral ran around and played the whole rest of the day.

Chapter 2

The next day your little puppy face dicided to show up in my bed with coaral next to you. you both licked my face until i woke up and you barked until i fed you two. once that was done you and coaral cuddled by the heater and i had to head off to a work interview. little did i know you jumped in my bag before i left the house.

i took the bus but i barely made it to my work interview in time. the clerk lady sat me in the waiting room while the boss prepared for the interview. after a few moments she called me into the next room where i sat dowm in a big comfy chair that sank down when i sat in it.

the boss asked me about my past and how i was living. she asked me if i had been in any severe accidents or if i had a criminal record. finally she asked to see my resume, which i had brought along with me in my bag. reaching in i found my resume...and attatched with it was my puppy! the suprise turned out to be shared between me and the boss lady. i handed her my resume which jessie took a corner off of, and the interview concluded shortly after.

turns out she was deathly afraid of dogs... some accident that occured when she was a little girl. she said she would contact me shortly with her answer on my job position, which basically told me she wasnt all for hiring me as an employee.

me and jessie took our time getting back to coaral...we had buisness to attend to. our daily hotdog time was near and we still had a while to go until we made it to our destiantion.

compleating our walk to the hotdog stand we ran into a rather...unexpected suprise. a little puppy, who looked like it was on the verge of dying. i picked the weak dog up and ran to the nearest bus stop. looking at the time i realized that it would be another half hour before the next bus came and even then id be better off getting me jessie and the new dog home to keep it from getting worse.

we made it home in record time. the little dog looked weaker and weaker every time i glanced at it. i provided it with water and some soft food to preoccupy it while i called for the help of my vet friend. she made it here in less than 15 minutes and looked at the dog. the dog was just exausted and needed rest so we set him on a pillow and let him sleep. i thanked my friend and we said our goodbyes.

upon checking on the new dog i found jessie curled up beside him and coaral on his side. chuckling to myself i left them alone and went to bed.

Chapter 3<</font>font;center>

the next few weeks were spent taking care of the new dog, which i decided to name gale. jessies 4th birthday came and went and coaral was given back to her owner shortly after the birthday of jessie. it was sad to see our new companion go but i guess it had to happen... its not like she belonged to me anyway. Gale and jessie quickly became unseperable and she kept him company while i was working at my new job as a grocer at a local food market. all was working out for the better when a new twist came along.

jessie was pregnant! she was pregnant and gale apparently was the father. jessie took her time doing everything from then on and it was hard to pick her up without her growling or snapping at me. gale pretty much was mellow throughout the whole pregnacy and tagged along by jessies side wherever she went.

a few months past and she gave birth to 7 puppies which were named josh, jake, peach, lemon, cory, carp, and seth. jessie became so overprotective and i couldnt get near the puppies. i continued working with my odd job and the puppies got older day by day. the time finally came to sell them and i sold each one except for josh. josh stayed with me, jessie, and gale and we continued living our lives until we couldnt live our lives to the fullest anymore.
