Chapter 1

*RRrrrIIiiiiNNnnnGGGGG*

25 year old Alexandra Lenda woke up grumpy wanting more sleep.Although her alarm clock wouldn't shut up, she had to slam it off. She checked the time 6:30 o'clock, the neon lights blink. "Eh-5 more minutes." Alexandra thought in her head, "it wouldn't hurt..." With that she zoom back her head on her pillow, and turning around to hug her bigger pillow. "So this is how it feels to be alone."

-While in Candice's house-

The beautiful 25 1/2 year old Candice Underwood woke up in the arms of her husband. She always had love him, no matter what. They meet in junior high, and fell in love the moment their eyes met one and another. ClichΓ©, but a true love story indeed.Candice had to get up and get really for work. Candice and Alexandra are the best friends ever since preschool, and they even go to the same jobs.
Candice knew everything about Alex, just like her secrets, crushes, and...Alex's daily routines in the mornings.

Wake up in the alarm at 6:30 A.M.,
the whole '5 more minutes thing',
then wake up an hour late for work.

"Alexandra you better be awake by now, or else you're screwed!" Candice hell in her head while in the shower.

After Candice was done showering, she got dress. She picked a beautiful red summer dress that had a black belt on the waist. She then head over to her white Mercedes-Benz car. One small fact left out, Candice and her husband are rich people. Very wealthy people to be the fact.

It was a short 10 minute driver from her house to her best friend's apartment. There she saw her childhood friend kicking her old pick-up truck, she laughed at her.
Candice always hated that truck, but sadly that's all her friend can afford. Even how much Candice tried to give money to Alex, she still wouldn't take it.

"Need a ride?" She honked her car at Alex.

It got Alexandra's attention to her friend in her luxury car. "YES!" She shouted and race into the expense vehicle. "You're a life saver, you know that Candy?"

"I know..." Candy, Candice's childhood nickname from Alex. No matter how childish it sounded, she still love it either way.

There was a awkward silence in the car. Candy never forgotten the loud on chats they shared in high school. Sadly, high school was finish and there's nothing to talk about besides about their co-workers. Which by the way not as much fun as you think it is.

"So...how's work?" Alex tried to break the silence. A very weird silence in fact.

"Fine." Candy simply replied, then remember something very important. "You know...its that time of month again." Also no, they're not talking about their periods. Even though for time-to-time they each can complain about it, they always tell each other about everything.

"Not again." Alex groaned, she hated that time of month. Set-up blind dates for her. Oh god. How Alexandra definitely hated the rich snobs Candy pick out for her. Alexandra knew Candy did it for her. But sometimes Alex just wanted to stay home alone, eat some chips, and a sec later pass out on the couch in her PJ'S.

"Don't be mad Alex. I'm trying to find someone for you, besides you'll love him." Candy insured her friend. Candy only wanted her best friend to be happy. "And always being alone wasn't that great. Trust me I know. Besides we're here already."

'Yeah sure I will...' Alex talk back her friend inside her head. She'll never talk back to Candy, never. 'That's not what BFFL's do, or do they?' Alex questioned inside her head.

Alexandra never liked that many guys in her life, maybe just 3 kiddie-crushes nothing more than that. "Come on Alexa, cheer up." Candy tried to confront her best friend as she parked in the reserved parking lot. "Its so nice to have your older brother as your boss right Alex?" Candy turned to her friend and unlocked the car doors.

'Alexa huh- never heard that nickname in a long time' Alex thought in her head. "From time to time, I guess." Alex answered her getting out of the car. "You know I don't have any siblings...just like the fact I don't have a mom..." She said sadly trying to hold off her tears.

"Don't cry Alexa, its not your fault she died." Candy patted Alexandra's back as they entered the elevator.

"Yes. It. Is."

"No, its not! Besides we're going to be late." With that they storm off to work.

Flash Back

"Mom? Have you seen the lighter?" 11 year old Alexandra asked her lovely mother. She always love her no matter how protective she was. The only reason for her to act that way was because of HIM. Him being Alexandra Lenda's father. Her parents had a terrible past they each divorce one and another on Alex's 5th birthday. They fought a year deciding who'll keep little innocent 6 year old Alexandra. Alex's mother won, which ending up her father trying to kill her mother. Now he's in a jail cell for 5 years threatening to come back for his daughter.

"What for sweetly?" Alexa's mom said kindly. "Can it wait? I'm busy working with a client." Then she went back on the phone.

Poor young Alexandra frowned at her busy working mom, "its for my birthday cake..." She whispered to herself and walk away to find the lighter in the kitchen. She checked in the cabinet for 10 minutes then went on to the drawers. She swear she heard a door rustled open but ignore anyways. She side open the old drawers to where the lighter hind in the darkness.

Then a gun shot.
A giant "BAAMM" echoed around their apartment. Alexandra laid on the floor arms tightly on her small chubby legs. A few minutes went by she finally decided to check what it was.
Her mother. Lying on a pool of blood, it was every where, it even soaked on her mothers clothes. Her eyes were open, but she was dead.
Alexandra couldn't stand to be in the same room with her dead mom, she just couldn't. It was an unhealthy sight for a 11 year old. She ran out of the apartment to the park close by. There she cried her eyes out till the next morning. She wanted to say goodbye to her mom at least just one last time. A ambulance and cops surround the apartment building. Paramedics in white uniforms walking pushing a ambulance bed where her mother laid inside a black bag. "I'm so sorry mom." Alexandra cried a goodbye to her mom from a distance and ran away once again to the park.

Flash back over

-In a million dollar company-

"What the hell do you mean you get booked me the hotel room?!" Toby shouted at his Secretary. Pouching his desk where a worker under hid.

"I-I-I'm so sorry sir." She flinch, struggling on her phone. "The last one was booked already..."

"So what do you want me to do then? It's YOUR job to do the things I W-A-N-T!" Toby said shallowly at his brown-haired, Asian secretary.

A light bulb hit her head. "How about at the Hilton Hotel then sir?"

"Hilton Hotel then, huh-" Toby questioned, a hand on his chin. "O.k, that'll do. You better do so Ms. Ling." With that, he hung up on her.

"Jeez will it kill yeah to say please?" Asuka muttered annoyed, typing to reserved a room for her jerky boss. "I have a name too! YOU JERK!"

"So...babe when will the hotel room be ready?" A red-haired worker asked Toby sexy, climbing out under of his thick, wooden desk.

"Soon babe, soon." Toby reply zipping-up his zipper. "You better go back to work Ms. Jacklyn." He smirk.

Grabbing all her clothes and putting on her pink laced Victoria Secret thong. "Yes boss...see you tomorrow" The redhead winked a goodbye at her boss and went back to work.

A Whole New Chapter

'Finally...she's gone..' Toby thought in his head. 'Her voice was so annoying! God! What did I even think at that party last night?' He asked.

Toby couldn't remember what happen last night at the party, all because of his huge hangover. He just realize waking up with one of his female workers in his arms.

"Knock, knock" Toby heard a cutie little baby voice shout.

This voice sounded way more smoothing than the ginger that came in before.

"Who is it?!" He yelled back.

"It's Me!" The voice reply back.

Toby chuckled, "sorry, but I don't a Me!" He lied.

He could feel the person getting mad at him, he loved making people mad. It's just plain funny to him.

"Just open the door, you playboy of a man whore Toby Underwood!" A male's voice bust.

"What's the magic word?" Toby played along.

"Pleasszzee?" The cute little voice asked.

"Owh...that's not the magic word."

"This isn't funny dude!"

"Yes, it is bro!"

"No. It's. Not." Zander said though his clenched teeth.

"Yes. It. Is." Toby mocked his best bro.

"Please open the door y-yo-you-you handsome hunk!" The girl said a bit annoyed.

Toby grin at what he just heard, "Now you can come in."

The couple open the door to find Toby grining at them like a devil.
Oh..he is one anyways.

"Please don't say that again to him, babe." Her boyfriend muttered pissed off, very pissed. "Just to me instead." He smiled at his girlfriend. The girl just playfully punched him on his shoulder. "Ouch! That hurts!" He joke on his girl.

"Awwhh..." The girl said sadly, " I'm so sorry.." But he interrupted her by a kiss. Of course she kissed him back.

Toby just sat there seeing his best friend making out with his girlfriend. 'Well..this can't be any more awkward.'

A second later Toby heard loud echos of moans, bouncing off the walls in his office. Good thing his office was soundproof, or boy! That wouldn't be good, at all!

'Yuup' Toby thought 'It just got more...what's the word again? Oh yeah, weird!'
