Chapter one.

Throwing my bag onto my bedroom floor I see my best friend on my bed starring at the ceiling.

“Hey there Mia,” I asked more than said. She popped up and looked at me with a bright smile. She ran over to me and started jumping up and down. I stood there awkwardly watching my best friend look psycho.

“We’re going to a party,” she exclaimed and pulled me into my closet which was like another room. Standing in my closet I look at my best friend like she is crazy, well she is. I do not go to parties, that’s her thing. Mia took my wrist and pulled me deeper into my closet where all my dresses are, the ones I don’t wear. She threw a random rainbow colored dress at me and picked herself a teal one, we are both the same size so this is basically her closet also. She quickly changed into her dress and squealed but all that excitement went away when she saw I haven’t changed yet. Looking intensely at me with puppy eyes she melted me away and I started to change. Sighing in defeat I had on a rhinestoned multicolored puffy dress on. Mia picked up two pairs of shoes and pushed one of them into my stomach. Lord, this is going to be a long night. Stuffing my feet into the high heels that match my dress I look up at Mia and she was starring at me in awe.

“I don’t see why you don’t get dress up like this and go to parties with me,” she complained but her eyes were still glued to me approvingly.

“Okay, whatever, let’s go,” I said to her and started walking out of the closet almost tripping over my feet. Stupid heels, I thought to myself. “Wait your hair,” Mia exclaimed following me. I twirl my regular curly hair in my finger and asked myself what’s wrong with my hair.

“I need to straighten it.” My eyes widen and I turned around starring at her. I think she wants no one to realize it’s me. She took my wrist again and pulled me into my oversized bathroom. Heating up straightening iron, I sat on the corner humming a song. Crash your party, by Karmin. I’m here to crash your party, I sung in my head. Mia pushed me off the counter and started to straighten my abyss of black hair. I close my eyes and wait until she is done. I heard her squeal and I felt hot hair press against my neck. Slowly I open my eyes and look into the mirror. My grey eyes widen and I looked around searching for the real Allison Monroe. My hand racked through my now straightened hair that cascades down to my hips.

“That’s not me,” my voice soft and airy, unlike my look. Mia smiled brightly and looked at me through the mirror and fixed her hair a bit. She grabbed my hand and started dragging me down the stairs to my garage.

Taking my keys off the hanger-like thing, I walk over to my mustang. Jumping into the driver’s seat I wait for Mia. Getting settled into the seat Mia plopped in and I turned the ignition. My car roared and my radio blasted. Turning it down a little I looked over at Mia and she was basically jumping in her seat. Backing out of the garage I stopped in my drive way.

“Whose party is it exactly,” I asked her confused as to where to go.

“Aston’s,” she replied giddily. Sighing I headed towards Aston’s house, sadly I know where it is. Arriving at the house I saw everyone’s eyes turn towards that flashy mustang. Hitting my head on the wheel, I wondered why I took this car instead of my regular car. Well of course because I like the speed of it, but now everyone is going to know I’m richer than just plain having money. Damn, I thought to myself and banged my head again as I heard a tap on my window. Picking my head up I rolled down the window and saw Aston.

“Who are you,” he asked then looked past me at Mia and nodded to her.

“Well then,” I said my voice dulcet like every time I talk. Turning my keys I turned off my car and sat there waiting for Aston to move.

“Allison?” I nodded and he backed away. Getting out of the car his eyes just got wider and every boy there was whistled. I rolled my eyes and thought to myself, I’m not a dog. Mia, however, was enjoying the fame. Everyone’s cheering and partying died down and they starred past me. Is it the police, I wondered and then turned around. Three alluring guys stepped out of a Pagani Zonda C12, it’s weird how I know cars like any other guy but I’m a nerd. Every girl was drooling over the guys while I was there gawking at the car. Shutting my mouth, which somehow got open I looked over to the guys who were now in front of me.

“I think it’s weird how she was the only girl not looking at us,” a guy from the back pointed out. My eyes traveled back to the car, and I yearned to have it.

“I think the car is charming her more than us,” the leader type guy said sadly. I nodded and that earned me starred in disbelievement.

“It’s a Pagani Zonda C12, why wouldn’t I be all hung-over it,” I questioned them astonished. The leader type guy smiled at me, and that got me hook but I shook my head clearing any thoughts clouding my mind. The other two guys just stared at me and walked away. Girls started to crowd them and everyone went back to partying. Aston left to go yell at someone doing something wrong and I just stood there awkwardly. Looking around I twirled my car keys and tried to find Mia. Of course she would leave me, I thought to myself. I smiled at the leader type guy and started walking towards my car only two feet away. Brushing around him, I jumped into my car.

“Leaving already,” the leader dude asked and then leaned against my car stopping me from leaving.

“I don’t like parties,” I explained and looked for Mia, just when I found her I heard my phone go off. Reaching back to the backseat I found my phone buried under a bunch of books. Groaning I twisted in my seat and I reached farther. Grabbing my phone I plopped back into my seat and saw Tony starring at me lusciously. I shivered gross out and looked at a txt I got.
-I know you want to leave Mick is giving me a ride home -M
Yes, I thought to myself and did a happy dance in my seat. I looked over at the leader dude then at his car. It won’t hurt to ask, I thought to myself picturing me in his car.

“Well if you let me see your car, I might consider staying for a few more minutes,” I tried persuading him stepping out of my car. He smiled that smile that got me hook again. Grabbing my hand he led me to his car. I stepped in and squealed, this is awesome. I searched the whole inside and traced my finger over everything. I suppressed another squeal but a smile remained on my small pale face. Stepping out of the car I was heartbroken. I sighed and traced my finger along the paint job. The leader guy took my hand and pulled me to the other side of the car and opened the door for me. I pulled my eye brows together but he pushed me in. Closing and locking the door I sat in the awesome car, confused and scared.

“Can I see your keys,” the leader guy asked from the over side of the car, I looked at my side of the car then at him, he’s fast. Slowly, not knowing why, I handed him my mustang’s keys. The leader guy handed them to the one of the two other guys and they went towards my car and got in, then drove off. I sat there silently gawking at my car driving away. Taking my cross from my dress I raised it to my mouth and kissed it. The leader dude sat in the driver’s seat and closed the door behind him. He turned to me and studied me.

“What’s your name,” he questioned and I felt like I was being pulled and pushed to answer.

“Allison,” I answered softly with my cross still in my hand.

Chapter two

That’s weird; I would never give my name away like that without thinking first. It’s creepy how fast this turned wrong. Searching for my phone or purse, I realized I left it in my car. Looking at the leader type guy who sat silently, I wondered if I could question him. This is why I like being plain… things like this don’t happen to plain people, I hope.

“Um…err… owner of this awesome car,” I whispered trying to get his attention. My mind wasn’t working properly I should have just kicked the door or him and tried to get out fast. Something was stopping me though, and I didn’t know what it was. Surely enough Mia would realize it wasn’t me driving my car, but then again when she’s with Mick she never cares. With all the rambling on in my head and the thoughts dancing around I forgot that I was trying to get the leader guy’s attention. Looking over at him again I remembered that I had homework and studying to do. For a nerd like me, that’s big.

“Um… can you please tell me why I’m here and why my car isn’t,” I asked completely dumbfounded and feeling stupid. It’s obliviously because they stole my car. Well isn’t today my lucky day, I thought brightly and sarcastically. The leader guy smiled, but said nothing. The silence was eating at me while we sat there doing nothing and saying nothing. My insanity was going mad; all these people at the party didn’t expect anything.

“Put on your seat belt, you’ll be safer,” was the only thing he said after all that time. Again I felt nothing but the urge to do as he said. As soon my seat belt clicked he was zooming down the street in the same direction the other guys went. I clenched the seat belt tightly acknowledging the words he said before. More thoughts raced in my mind, all the w’s; what, why, when, where, and who. The one that
