Maddy's POV:
"Cause baby when..." my alarm clock sang.
"U smile, I smile!" I sang back, smiling, hoping Justin was smiling back. Maybe he could even hear me. A rumor going around the whole school had it that Justin lived just down the block. And to get out of the public eye in the heart of Atlanta. But I wouldn't know. I don't get out much. I live in a tiny little suburb outside of Atlanta, I'm home-schooled, and my parents both work at home. My best friend? Her name is Cocoa, and she's my little Yorkie puppy. Well, her and all my online friends. I own a website called "www.justinbiebersmexyweebly.com", and it's where all the Justin Bieber fans of the world can come online to make forum posts, post concert dates and personally-taken pictures, talk about their favorite songs and chat with other Beliebers. Sounds kind of creepy, I know, but it makes a lot of money, and it's where I meet my only friends. Plus, it's pretty impressive on online-college resumes.
Maybe it sounds childish for a 15-year-old girl to have a whole website devoted to their teenage idol and love, but she secretly hoped that one day, he'd find out about .com through some fan, through Twitter, or through his cool swagger coach (his name's Ryan Good) or something! And maybe when he visited, he'd be impressed, and want to figure out who the smart fan who made the site was. And then maybe, just maybe, we'd meet.
But that's just a stupid dream, and stupid dreams usually don't come true.
No one would ever know that I'm a Belieber at first glance. I'm not completely unfortunate looking, but I'm definitely not like those other girls I see walking down the street in Hollister short shorts and effloads of makeup on their faces. Maybe it's just from an outsider's standpoint, but they look like slutty clowns, and I don't think guys like that- But then again, I've only had one boyfriend before, and that was in kindergarden. I doubt he remembers, and I barely remember. I don't think that really counts. I've got long brown hair that my mom trims every other month. It's the kind of hair that my mom says people die for, but I don't believe her. She's just saying that because she's sorry that I'm locked up here all the time. I have slightly olive tinted skin, I never ever wear makeup, and I'm short for my age- just 5'1. I'm slender but not stick-thin, I have kind of a curvy shape but I'm definitely not bootylicious like Beyonce or Kim Kardashian. I have brown eyes and kind of a large forehead, but I consider that a blessing and not a burden. Altogether, I'm not confident but I'm not super insecure. I'd say I was fairly fortunate when I was born. But no one would think I'm a Belieber. Let me explain: I wear glasses most times. I don't talk to anyone who I don't trust- and I don't trust anyone; I have trust issues after the childhood that I've had. And, well, I don't scream and wear JB shirts and have panic attacks whenever he posts flirty tweets on Twitter. I'm not psychotic. And that's taken the wrong way.
Like I said- my mom compliments me all the time, but it's just pity. My mom had me at 16, she was pretty, well, involved with her high school boyfriend, and they forgot to use their protection one day, and boom, Maddy Claire Parker was born. My birth dad was a good guy- he stayed around, paying rent, helping out around the house, working lots of hours, until one day he just left. Gone forever, never coming back. But then my mom, at age 28, when I was 12, she met Pierre Mourhand, some French guy who had a business selling French pre-made pastries online, and was super rich. Now, Pierre and my mom are dating seriously, and Pierre's living in my house. He barely knows my name, and is positive that I'm 13 years old. Fun, right? Psh. Yeah. Totally Fun! I climbed out of my bed, took a shower, and changed into a pair of cropped sweatpants and a tank top, blowing my long hair straight and shiny. I put my glasses on and climbed down the stairs, laptop in tow.
"Maddy, are you going to do your schoolwork?" My mom called from the kitchen.
"Yeah, after I check JustinBieber101." I yelled back. Unlike most teens, I was super close with my mom, and told her everything in my life, even though there wasn't much. When I first came up with the idea for this site early last year, when he was still just a YouTube singer, my mom was really supportive. She's the one who pays for the website with her credit card, and whenever I have technical difficulties (almost never), my mom is the first one to call the GeekSquad.
I signed in with my username and password: "MaddyCreator" and Mrs_Justin_Bieber_xoxo_1994"
I purposely had a really long password- my account had been hacked at least a million times when this site was still in it's early stages, and I couldn't let that happen now that I had more than 2 million people using the website: People could use my site information to ruin me. For real.
I looked into one of the Trending Forums (Like Trending Topics on Twitter, JustinBieber101 has Trending Forums, Forums chats that are super popular at the moment.
BIEBERSGIRL999: Oh my god... I heard Justin Bieber is in Atlanta!
LIVELOVELAUGHBIEBER: ...He's always in Atlanta. He lives there.
BIEBERSGIRL999: No, not in Atlanta! He has a secret hide-a-way right outside of Atlanta!
LIVELOVELAUGHBIEBER: ...Really?
BIEBERSGIRL999: YES! It's on TMZ!
I looked outside my window and sure enough, there are mobs of paparazzi. Right out MY window.
"Mom! Look outside!" I screamed.
"Holy crap..." My mom murmured. "Don't go out there..."
I ignored her and ran outside, with Cocoa, just to have an excuse to go out.
"You guys, please, Justin Bieber doesn't live here!" I screamed, nearly blind from the flashes.
"Are you his girlfriend! A bunch of people yelled, more flashes came.
"No! No!" I walked out, pushing everyone out of the way, putting my leash on my dog, and walking, hoping no one would follow.
Everyone did.
"Please, guys, move- AHHHHH!" I screamed mid-sentence. Someone had grabbed my arm, someone in all black and sunglasses, and we were taking off at a very dangerously high speed for some random house across the street.
"Maddy, be quiet, unless you want them to stalk you." A boy's voice said. He took off his sunglasses, smiled and winked. He was Justin Bieber, and he just saved my life from paparazzi. Fate, much?
