Courtney Alexandria Smith has been groomed since the day she was born to live her life a certain way. With both of her lawyers she was expected to be great from the first day she started school. With her mother on the deaconess board at church she was baptized at an early age. She has lived her whole life solely for her parents and God’s will.
But all that is about to change after four years at Columbia, two years at Harvard and two years at Yale. Courtney is becoming bored with the life she has been living she is ready for a change. The first and most important thing is to stop bed hopping with one hoe after the other and finally settle down with the right woman, fall in love and have a family. The second thing is that he wants all the killing over little things going on in his crew to stop. The third one is too have a happy care free life, a life where he doesn’t have to constantly look over his shoulder for cops trying to lock him up or rival gangs trying to kill him. He has been battling with the decision of getting out for almost two years but never had a legitimate reason to actually go forth with the task. That is until he meets and instantly falls in love with Courtney Smith, who is everything he’s ever dreamed of.
Courtney and Raphael builds their bond strictly on love, not his street credentials or her family’s wealth. The only dilemma is can a Christian, Brainiac Lawyer spend her life enjoying the love and affection from a gangsta like Raphael? When she knows her family, especially her father will never accept or approve of their relationship. Courtney is going to have to make a decision as to whether she wants to live her life making her family happy.
